.....and yet he hasn't created a damn thing yet has he.....lol. but, bu, but we know with your unquestioning love and support he will overcome it all and save the world.....all suspicion of his actions being that of scammer will be replaced by his being the greatest scientific mind of the 21st century.

...once he figures out how to use a heat source to do ..... something.

Verifiable advances in Quantum Theory in the last 30 years (from Timeline_of_quantum_mechanicsWP):

Verifiable advances by Mills in the last 30 years:
????

Nice compilation of what scientists can do despite a flawed theory.

It is possible to arrive at the Rydberg formula using the wrong physics.

At last, Mills gets something right. In this case, though, one might argue that the "wrong physics" is the one that forever promises exciting new effects that never actually seem to materialise - except, that is, when its originator pays someone to say that they have.

From https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deferent_and_epicycle

Epicycles worked very well and were highly accurate, because, as Fourier analysis later showed, any smooth curve can be approximated to arbitrary accuracy with a sufficient number of epicycles. However, they fell out of favour with the discovery that planetary motions were largely elliptical from a heliocentric frame of reference, which led to the discovery that gravity obeying a simple inverse square law could better explain all planetary motions.

From Mills 2016 GUTCP page 9:

Three Atomic Theories
It is possible to arrive at the Rydberg formula using the wrong physics. The statement "the results justify the means" is a fundamental argument for the validity of quantum mechanics no matter how strained the explanations or the consequences. Consider that in fact, the mathematics of the three theories of Bohr, Schrodinger, and presently CP [Classical Physics] converge to Eq (I.1) as the principal energy levels of the hydrogen atom.

E(n) = - e^2/(n^2*8*Pi*epsilon0*alphaH) = -13.598eV/n^2 , n = 1,2,3,...

where alphaH is the Bohr radius for the hydrogen atom (52.947pm), e is the magnitude of the charge of the electron, and epsilon0 is the vacuum permittivity. The theories of Bohr and Schrodinger depend on specific postulates to yield equation (I.1). ...

Meh.

Excuses from a serial failure. A loser with demonstrations the Mythbusters could outdo while high is trying to throw shade on science that gave us computers. Of COURSE he's going to attack the idea that results are meaningful. He has none, so he has to make excuses.

Summarizing...
[Epicycles] fell out of favour with the discovery that planetary motions were largely elliptical... History Channel verborrhea

Remarkable how markie keeps trying to make Mills seem like a hero when the evidence so clearly says otherwise.

30 years markie, 30 years......

Too long. How does the movie end? With Mills being the real Zefram Cochrane and drawing the attention of the Vulcans?

Some burning metal over a video feed is hailed as evidence of a new energy source, and the nit-wits in the comment section eat it up with a spoon.

And “CP” does not depend on specific postulates?

It has been known for ~a century that QM and GR are mutually incompatible, at a very deep level. And yet, at a high level, both have been shown to be fully consistent with all experimental and observational results so far. That makes them effective.

Mills’ nonsense, on the other hand, predicts magical entities he calls hydrinos. He claims to have seen them. Yet after several decades, no one else has. More: the fantastic devices and cures, based on hydrinos, he has promised for so long have yet to materialize.

Odd, wouldn’t you say?

Great, so Mills' simply asserts whatever calculations he's made simply don't matter as he could have gotten that result just "using the wrong physics". For your's and Mills edification, all theories "depend on specific postulates to yield equation"s.

Do you understand the distinction between the Rydberg formula, a mathematical advancement, and say flash memory, a technological advance?

We're not talking about an empty orbitsphere. Rather, there is a proton mass in the centre. Totally different. The equation of motion still holds.

From the link...

In classical mechanics, the shell theorem gives gravitational simplifications that can be applied to objects inside or outside a spherically symmetrical body. This theorem has particular application to astronomy.

Nope not "Totally different", the shell theorem already specifically "can be applied to objects inside or outside a spherically symmetrical body".

Only if equal charge distribution over the entirety of the shell was a requirement of the shell itself. Which I do seem to recall being asserted somewhere. Though just self-inconsistency wouldn't be, well, inconsistent with such assertions.

It should be welcome news that the physics of the atom and the physics of GR are not incompatible with Mills' theory.

As Mills says later on in page 9,

"The two other theories are more or less mathematics curve fits to the Rydberg formula with inherent physical and mathematical flaws. ... In contrast, the stable electron current at the n = 1 state and the quantized excited states and their lifetimes can be solved precisely in closed-form equations containing fundamental constants only using physical laws that do not miss the Lamb shirt, fine structure, hyperfine structure, magnetic moment, Stern Gerlach experimental results, g factors, and relativistic invariance as the Schrodinger equation does."

There are mathematical juicy details on the same page that you may be interested in.
