May 18, 2017: Mueller was appointed Special Counsel on May 17, 2017. The next day Strzok and Page exchanged text messages in a discussion of whether Strzok should join the Special Counsel’s investigation. Strzok wrote: “For me, and this case, I personally have a sense of unfinished business. I unleashed it with MYE. Now I need to fix it and finish it.”

That a DA has empaneled a grand jury to investigate with a view toward issuing criminal indictments.

So it does imply future prosecutions?

Seems likely, then, that either the FBI agents who leaked to Giuliani and Nunes, and/or Giuliani and Nunes will have problems in the future, then.

Reads like a guy who loves his country. A patriot. As opposed to the sycophants that are OK with American being attacked.

uh, more likely McCabe, Strzok and Page.

McCabe has already been referred to prosecutors. There was nothing in the more recent report that suggested Strzok and Page should be prosecuted for anything, and nor has there been any indication that prosecution is being sought. There is one report yet to be published, which concerns the leaks to Giulliani and Nunes. The latest report does say that those leaks affected events and that there is evidence that they were driven by considerable anti-Clinton bias.

Wait, you just wrote that McCabe was referred to prosecutors and that was supposed to contradict what I just wrote?

The alleged leaks being investigated also refer to the leaks to the press as discussed in the actual report.

Oy vey..

Good article about the flaws in the Prosecution decisions, most of which should be familiar to avid readers of the thread from my previous discussions about Comey's original decision

Yawwwwwwwwwwwn.

If it's familiar, it's simply because it's a rehash of the same crap he's been writing for the last two years.

And whether it was the Obama Justice Dept or the Trump Justice Dept, they don't back up his assertions, and he's still wrong.

But don't let that stop you .... :deadhorse
