You are wrong. I have spent a fair part of my life dealing with abused children. These children are being abused. Laws and articles do not change that fact.

That laws in your country allow this to happen and are supported is ample evidence of a sick society. You are just so involved in that society that you cannot see it.

I oppose illegal immigration, but I can't condone this policy of child separation. Instead of prosecuting the criminals who enter this country we should consider just cutting off their feet. A policy of incapacitation would be both effective and humane.

ETA: I just thought of a way to improve deterrence and while reducing costs. Only cut off one foot.

I'd add "cowardice" to his long list of negative traits, but it was already there, since the man is notorious for blaming others for his own actions.
 
Looks like Trump got his bump from North Korea, so he is up to 44 approve/50 disapprove. But just like the news was quick to praise the "historic" event, the news cycle was quick to switch, so this might be all the benefit he sees.

The abuse is simply separating them forcibly from their parents and keeping them separated.. Being deprived of your parents love and care is very traumatic for a young child. Depriving them on purpose is abuse..

You appear, as does Trump, to have no concept of love between a parent and child. So you have no concept of the issues that separation causes. Anyone who understands the parent/child bond would have no need to ask for "proof".

Joke's on him - Musk would likely be one of the contractors that would profit from it. Dude's already got his own flamethrowers like Hank Scorpio...

Whether or not this would lead to anything functional, especially under Dolt 45's watch, remains to be seen, but don't underestimate the profit motive at work here. And it does make some sense to be the first and only, assuming we can secure such weapons from routine hacking and the like.

So, what is a Space Force going to do that STRATCOM and the Air Force's SPACECOM doesn't do now? Should someone explain to Trump the Star Trek wasn't a documentary. We can't actually launch and keep on patrol, space warships?

I bet he just wants someone to build the holodeck from Next Generation. You don't have to sign an NDA when you bang a holographic porn star.

We can't even currently launch manned spacecraft from the U.S., although shortly we may be able to.
 
Maybe he thinks 'I lost my heart to a Starship Trooper' is a documentary.
