Hillary Clinton just emailed in relation to Comey's gmail use:

"But my emails."

She might be the dumbest ************ alive right now....

Oh man that was so funny. I was laughing so hard when I read that. The comments were on point as all hell too. I think it had over 61K retweets when I read it. She just trolled all the rightie tighties and they are chomping at the bit LoL.

Say what you will, she got screwed over pretty bad and she can still crack a joke.

That was my response, too. That was one of the funnier things you will see on Twitter.

That was great.

I thought it was even a bit funnier because, outside of the avid fox news consumer, people realize this was worth a look but there's nothing really there. Basically this boils down to: Yes, there were people that had bias in the industry. No, there's absolutely no evidence at all that proves bias played a role in anything.

Meanwhile, Trump is getting absolutely rocked left and right. Now NY is suing him, the special investigator, the Stormy Daniels thing, and the list keeps growing all of the time. He's a douche of the highest caliber, and she was able to put all of that into 3 words, "But my emails"

Oh man, what a hoot.

There are systematic issues with the bureau.

In assessing the decision to prioritize the Russia
investigation
over following up on the Midyear
-related
investigative lead discovered on the Weiner laptop, we
were particularly concerned about text messages sent
by Strzok and Page that potentially indic
ated or created
the appearance that investigative decisions they made
were impacted by bias or improper considerations.
Most of the text messages raising such questions
pertained to the Russia investigation, and the
implication in some of these text messa
ges, particularly
Strzok’s August 8 text message (“we’ll stop” candidate
Trump from being elected), was that Strzok might be
willing to take official action to impact a presidential
candidate’s electoral prospects. Under these circumstances, we did not have confidence that Strzok’s decision to prioritize the Russia investigation over following up on the Midyear -related investigative lead discovered on the Weiner laptop was free from bias.
Hmmm. that was from the report.

So was this:
"We found no evidence that the conclusions by Department prosecutors were affected by bias or other improper considerations; rather, we determined that they were based on the prosecutors' assessment of the facts, the law, and past Department practice”

Next time someone cherry picks the report to say ""We found no evidence that the conclusions by Department prosecutors were affected by bias or other improper considerations," make sure you ask them to explain who the "Department prosecutors" are.

protip: It ain't the FBI's texting crew.

Citing the conclusion of the report is not cherry-picking.

Citing out-of-context findings is cherry-picking. You know, like you keep doing.

That is not the conclusion of the report, that is a comment of a short section of the report regarding DoJ prosecutors decision to agree with Comey/FBI recommendation not to prosecute and tells us nothing about the findings about Stroz, etc in the FBI’s bias.

I get that you will undoubtedly spam that again, despite the fact that doing so is deliberately misleading.

...says the guy spamming the same paragraph in 2-3 different threads.

You thought that glib, tone deaf, spectacularly self absorbed and completely ridiculous post was one of the funnier things you have seen on twitter?

Ouch, not sure what you have against twitter, but damn you must really hate it.

Oig releases a report about the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails, and Hillary replies “but my emails.”

Could be dementia, I guess.

I don't read twitter much, but I'll chime in on also thinking it was pretty hilarious.

I plan on listening to Sean Hannity on at least part of my drive home.

My prediction is that he will lie about the contents of the report.

He will also lie about it for a long time to come.

Hannity wasn't as bad as I thought. In fact, there was only one thing I heard that might have been a new lie. (He repeated the "mom and pop bathroom server" lie that is a staple of his lying.) He said that the report said that Hillary's emails had been accessed by unauthorized people. I can't remember exactly how he said it, but it implied that foreigners had hacked her emails when it was on that mom and pop bathroom server.

I'll have to look that up, but I suspect it's a lie. I read one article where it said the report criticized her for communicating with the President on that email, and questioned the security, but that article I read didn't say that the email ahd been hacked. I'm guessing it's the same reference, and Hannity was lying, but that's just a guess.

....
Actually, Maddow made a good point just now. All the right wing bullying of the FBI resulted in Comey's actions to prove the FBI was sufficiently going after Clinton.

The right wingers have been conflating the hacked DNC emails with Clinton's server for quite a while. If you repeat a lie often enough... it's still a lie. See the third comment down from Clinton's Tweet:
Max: Read the IG report stupid! Hillary setup a private server against the law for her to do as Secretary of State then it was hacked by foreign governments. #LockHerUp

Yeah. I'm pretty sure it was a lie. Unless there's something new in the IG report, there has never been any reason to believe either the basement server or the Platte River Networks server was ever penetrated by hackers. Still, that was the only new lie from Hannity, and I listened for 45 minutes. That's not bad for Hannity. I expected more lying.

Oh....and I'm sure that if there really was something in the IG report that was vaguely like Hannity said, our local Hillary haters will bring it to our attention.

I get that you have not read the report but at least you could read my posts quoting the key findings????

It is not only indicative of a biased state of mind but, even more seriously, implies a willingness to take official action to impact the presidential candidate’s electoral prospects.
They sat on the Weiner laptop to push ahead the Russia investigation. the fact that it blew up so spectacularly is just *********** gravy.

This is nonsense. Show us where "they sat on the Weiner laptop". I can't find that in the report, anywhere.

ETA: Missed a page; didn't see where you addressed the source for your hyperbole. So the report says something wishy washy about them not being overly confident about the decisions to prioritize one or the other. That's it. That means "they sat on the Weiner laptop"?

I'm trying to wrap my head around it. So you have this here lawyer type doing work with/for the FBI. And you have this FBI guy, doing work for, well, the FBI. So neither of them remembers that the I stands for investigation and that part of their very existence is snooping on people's private communications and decide to leave blundering conversations in the organization's emails system? Hey, what could go wrong. We'll just chat about the implementation of Operation Golden Shower, here and no one working for the Federal Bureau of Investigation is ever going to see this. That's the uber conservative Federal Bureau of Investigation. Their "crime" merits an official slap on the wrist. They were using the gov's email account for water cooler chit chat. I've done the same thing (and I got an official reprimand for it, too). All sorts of people use company or dot gov email for sharing every little brainfart. It passes the time and saves you a trip to the other side of the building, city or country.
