It is bizarre that the Clinton fans are not apoplectic about the OIG report and the Weiner laptop.

They find out about it in late September, someone even tells Comey about it, and comey did not know that Weiner was married to Huma. Then they all do nothing, until someone from SDNY raises the issues, at which point they all remember that it was a huge *********** deal, and tell Comey who announces it to the world and then Trump gets sworn in.

what a pack of roving maroons

My recollection is that they were quite upset by the situation and the sitting on it.

Comey used a gmail account to do FBI business while being in charge of the Clinton email investigation.

Beautiful

Wait:

"Comey, Strzok and Page used their personal email accounts to conduct FBI business."

oh mercy!

I plan on listening to Sean Hannity on at least part of my drive home.

My prediction is that he will lie about the contents of the report.

He will also lie about it for a long time to come.

use official authority or influence to interfere with an election
solicit or discourage political activity of anyone with business before their agency
solicit or receive political contributions (may be done in certain limited situations by federal labor or other employee organizations)
be candidates for public office in partisan elections
engage in political activity while:
on duty
in a government office
wearing an official uniform
using a government vehicle
wear partisan political buttons on duty

I'm a private citizen and I can do only a fraction of those.

The important things to take away from the report:

- Comey deviated from department norms
- Strzok and Page said things they should not have said

- Comey's findings were in keeping with precedent
- Strzok and Page showed no signs of allowing their political bias to affect their work

Do these nothing-burgers come with fries?

Inspector General's report: "We found no evidence that the conclusions by Department prosecutors were affected by bias or other improper considerations; rather, we determined that they were based on the prosecutors' assessment of the facts, the law, and past Department practice”

I get that you have not read the report but at least you could read my posts quoting the key findings????

It is not only indicative of a biased state of mind but, even more seriously, implies a willingness to take official action to impact the presidential candidate’s electoral prospects.
They sat on the Weiner laptop to push ahead the Russia investigation. the fact that it blew up so spectacularly is just *********** gravy.

Their biased state of mind does not support the conclusion that their results were biased. Their implied willingness is not equal to saying they did take action.

And yet however willing they were supposed to be, they didn't actually do anything. That Russia investigation was kept all hush hush so that it would NOT have a negative impact on Trump.

Lol

You certainly wish that’s all it is.

Did you read about the part where officials were accepting gifts from journalists?

I know I just explained this....

There's no evidence the timing of when the laptop was looked at was in any way a political decision.

You are just making **** up. In fact, the timing of when they decided to look at it was the worst possible timing for Clinton.

But are you going to magically, or is it just straight up dishonestly, pretend it was actually some pro Clinton maneuver?

Strzok did not give access to his personal email account to the IG.

Shocker!

You know who else refused to cooperate with an Inspector General??? Hmmmm, I wonder?
