What book is everyone writing right now?

On the downside I'm starting to worry about my short Christmas release. One reviewer pulled out because it was not her thing, jumping back and forth between the framing device and the short stories within (which I am fairly sure is a polite way of telling me it is garbled and confusing).

It is not the only tool out there, but it might be worth considering, to find the help you need.

You might also want to look up Adri Sinclair's Author Café. I haven't checked for a while, but she used to do a lot of affordable work to help direct your marketing, putting together images, and stuff, but you will have to do a lot of the actual work (getting them out there) yourself.

Thanks for that.

One of the short stories I wanted to release before Christmas is now on Amazon (although I do not have high expectations for any of my work, least of all those featuring puppets and magicians being chased by assassins. It is a hard sell.)

Currently I am amusing myself with two projects:
One a pen and paper role playing game, that I am currently describing as "adventures in an old fashioned future", until I think of a title.

The other is a short novella set in a fantasy world, that has a 1940's level of technology, instead of swords and knights.

Just published a book of erotic stories and poetry, under a pseudonym.

Shameless plug (no, not a pun) to the book

The story follows a real event when I was on a beach in Fiji. There were these tiny little crabs living in holes. We threw pebbles and they would all run after them and when the first one reached the stone and put a claw on it, they all froze in place. Then they'd all retreat back into the holes and we'd toss another pebble and watch the drama replay.
That's an interesting behavior.

Anyway, thanks for the feedback. :)
You're welcome.

The pen and paper RPG is underway. The basic rules are written, with a few simple illustrations, and the world building for the setting has begun. Favourable feedback so far from the first player to read the rules...

I haven't published anything this year and I decided to set aside the book I was trying to write and go back to my Young Adult series. Just getting started on the next book. Sales have dwindled down, this has been a hard year to get sales after my best results last year.
Pronoun is shutting down in January so I have pulled my eBooks from the places I used Pronoun for (Kobo, iTunes, GooglePlay, & B&N) and I'm now exclusive with Amazon as of 10 days ago. All my titles are now in KDP Select/Kindle Unlimited. That's a service for books similar to Netflix for video where members pay a monthly fee to download free books and authors get paid based on pages read.
I hope to see some decent income from this in the near future. In other news, my first book (Jade) released on audio earlier this year and I hope to have my second book (Jane) on audio by year end.

Actually that sounds pretty awesome!

I tried writing a novel over the last few months and I have a story line, setting, character arcs and every other component and yet I can't make the bloody thing come together. You have my respect, each and every one.

Deleted. For some reason I clicked a post here instead of a message in the other window.

Feel free to mock and jeer.

The second part of my second "Bears" trilogy, which are the most popular books among my social media friends who critique my work, but far less popular in terms of sales or reviews.
