There's a pattern alright, we continue with the assertion he put his hands on butts? What does it even mean? Russian trolls cannot be ruled out.

To keep claiming this is the same as multiple women coming forward? They're not the same. If your standard for accusing someone of sexual assault and/or harassment is anonymous women claiming he squeezed or touched their butts?

Sorry, find something credible and significant because this isn't it.

I can't get over the fact that Al is on the judiciary committee. Somehow, that doesn't seem like a coincidence.

It's definitely not a coincidence that he is a prominent, effective Democrat in the Senate. The alt-right may also believe his seat is vulnerable.

Given that this is a story run by the Huffington Post referring to two women who contacted them, I was would hope that their journalists vet the sources and make sure that these are flesh and bone humans with evidence or a plausible story that they met Franken when they say they did.

By the way, it is becoming a strawman defence by those defending Franken that everyone who gives credence to the stories about Franken are trying to equate Franken with Moore, Trump, Louis CK or Kevin Spacey. Certainly I do not think they are in the same league, but it does NOT mean that Franken isn’t guilty of sexual misbehaviour.

And there is no mystery behind the phrase “hands on butts”. Some people do indeed enjoy touching other people’s body parts and that remains true no matter how difficult it might be for others to see the appeal. Let’s not pretend that the stories around Franken need to lead us into questioning the whole phenomenon of inappropriate touching.

Have you made it clear you are not equating Franken's butt touch (if it happened, we are still talking about 3 people with uncorroborated claims) with the sexual assault supported by a sufficient amount of evidence?

As for straw, are you claiming no one in this thread is equating Franken with the slew of others?
