Split Thread Scorpion's Spiritualism

Let me tell you that having suffered all kinds of schizophrenic experiences
I know something about chaos. And chaos is not what we are living in.

We are living in a working universe so well ordered that it allows the development of intelligent life. If we were living in chaos not one atom could be relied upon to stick to another one to create a molecule.

He puts on a good show but I am reminded why I walked away from his threads. There is no teaching or learning to be done here, only a kind of grating torture on all sides.

Think I'll see myself out again.

Oh you are being mischievous. Scorpion may struggle with this one.:(

Nahh, of course not. As always, the answer will be : ghost magic, everything will be fine. And when pressed the answer will shift to: I don't know, but I trust in ghost magic so I'll believe anything I want.

They lose their sexual differences, but retain the form of their previous incarnation? How does that work?

Silver Birch says that initially after death the spirit retains all outward appearance of the last incarnation, but as the spirit progresses upward it looses its sexuality, he even said that organs you don't need gradually fade away. Presumably he was speaking of the genitals.

If it means that the six year old is passed around a ring of pedophiles, if it means the 9 months pregnant woman is repeatedly raped by multiple soldiers, that parents must watch their 3 year old die in agony, that millions must starve, that millions will be forced into concentration camps and slaughtered like cattle?

No.

As I said you rejoice in the cruelty of the world, and in all the unnecessary and avoidable suffering.

You believe in a monstrous God.
Most of what you have described is the work of men. They are creating their own bad karma by bad actions. The victims are not going to have to sufferer further after this life. Not unless they succumb to hatred and vengeance.

Silver Birch is simply making crap up. If that were true, your brother would not look like you in any way shape or form. Nor would "he" have girlfriends but no boyfriends. And your presumptions are simple post facto rationalisations. "The medium says so? Let me make up some story."

But the way to progress upwards is by incarnating again, so the idea of these things gradually fading away while still being a spirit makes no sense. But you're saying that a baby girl would grow up, growing breasts at the same time, and then lose them again as they fade away?

And can I opt in to an afterlife in which I get to keep my genitals, please? They can be fun.

Have you no clue how horrible that idea is? Rape victim? Who cares? It will be OK after you are dead.

Sure, and what does a spirit need a pancreas for?
This is getting ludicrous.

The spirits can climb to a certain level in the afterlife, but they eventually reach a stage where they realise the only real way forward is to reincarnate.
That is, unless they have completed all the evolution they need in the physical world, and settled all their karma.

The spirit world is a mental world and the higher you rise mentally the less you care about physical activities. I heard a spirit guide say that one reason why people choose to reincarnate is because they cannot feel love.

There's your problem. You have dismally failed to demonstrate that

A. Spirits exist
B. Spirit levels exist
C. Reincarnation exists
D. Karma exists

All you have is what some faux medium says that the spirits say plus a bucket of crap you simply made up out of whole cloth.

You will pardon me if I do not take that level of nonsense claim seriously and think about it. Your claims are even worse than Imre's.
The spirit world is a mental world
How do you know that?
and the higher you rise mentally the less you care about physical activities.
How do you know that?

No, you didn't. You stated right up front that you are simply going by whatever the mediums claim the spirits said. And you further claimed that you fill in the gaps with your own wild guesses.

That does not cut the mustard.

Okay, I am trying to be as respectful and sensitive as possible, because mental illness is an awful thing to endure. I genuinely hope you are feeling well and getting the treatment you need.

You are participating in a thread on a skeptic's forum in which you are presenting ideas that are unsubstantiated, implausible, and frequently self-contradictory. You acknowledge that you have suffered from schizophrenic episodes, of which one of the hallmark symptoms is an inability to discern fantasy from objective reality. Why then are you not willing to consider that these fantastic experiences you claim to have had were merely manifestations of your mental illness?

Been there, done that in spades. I allowed psychiatrists to treat me for two years. Then in 1972 I was informed I would have to stay on drugs for life so I walked away from them and went to a spiritualist church instead.

In my attendance of spiritualist churches I found answers the psychiatrists do not know anything about. Like the feelings I had were because my etheric body was loose. I had a lot of healing and it worked. I got off all the drugs and studied to become an electronics repair man. I succeeded in that career without medication. I survived because I got real help from spiritualists after being given up on by the psychiatric profession.

But you said that spirits of the same level are ghettoised together and segregated from those who are not at the same level. Now you're saying that spirits can move upwards by themselves, meaning that they must be with other spirits that are not on the same level as themselves.

The spirit world is a mental world and the higher you rise mentally the less you care about physical activities. I heard a spirit guide say that one reason why people choose to reincarnate is because they cannot feel love.

The thing about physical activities is they're not just physical activities. People don't just have sex because it's a good work out, but because it's pleasurable. Pleasure is a sensation of the mind.

How do you know that?.

I remember a lot of things I heard in trance lectures, but since I no longer live in London I cannot go to the spiritualist association any more.
Now days I am dependent on books like, 'the teachings of Silver Birch'

I didn't ask for you to regurgitate nonsense like "sliver birch". I asked "How do you know that?" on two separate questions. You have yet to answer either.

But I thought babies grew into adults?

And?

What does that have to do with you believing in a vile, despicable god who has created this suffering?

It's a strange one - Scorpion has stated that when he is on medication for his mental illness he doesn't feel his psychic energy etc. Yet he cannot seem to connect the two.
