Merged A God of Love / The Living God

Yep. Me too.

Do you think then He is absent?

No, his presense as balanced state in all things and beings should always be there. Then only, HE can be called as OMNIPRESENT.

So He is only busy keeping a balance?

No it is naturally happening "nature balances itself". HE is just a mediator.

Maybe you said "sorry" because you think I will be "sore" about your lack of "appreciating" of my God? Do not be. Your honesty is worth much more.

See it like this. If I am driving a "Bugati" I will have no problem of whatever people say about it. Just the fact of me having it is enough. Except of course if I am not selfish and have a lot to give away I would try my best to motivate others to take one too. Much more happiness in enjoying it with others too than just me bragging with it alone.

It is about teaching us what our Power is now with Jesus as our new Life.

We are now in charge of nature.

Power to cause destruction? An example that being in charge allows us impunity to destroy on a whim? Is that not exactly what the verse demonstrates?

That lesson can be learned from any tinpot dictator.
You would have thought that a better demonstration would have been to cause figs to flower on the tree.

Yes, it is good and proper for you and Kumar to go sit in the corner and play "family".

A good mother always include all of her children. But if some run she will not force. They run from what is good to what is bad. That will tell the difference and bring them back.

A good mother never punishes.

The punishment is in the wrong action.

Jer 2:19* Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God, and that my fear is not in thee, saith the Lord GOD of hosts.*

So: you wanting us to sit by ourselves and excluding yourself will suffer from loneliness.

Thus: We are waiting on your speedy return.

Power to cause destruction?

Power to do what is necessary.

An example that being in charge allows us impunity to destroy on a whim? Is that not exactly what the verse demonstrates?

Nope: Let us take a look:

Mat 21:19* And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.*
Mat 21:20* And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away!*
Mat 21:21* Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.*

It is about the Power in His words that should now be in us.

That lesson can be learned from any tinpot dictator.
You would have thought that a better demonstration would have been to cause figs to flower on the tree.

That is not what this lesson was about. After you learned the lesson you can put those flower back if you deem it that important. But I think there is much more pressing issues you can correct for us.

Prov 23:13-4 - Do not withhold discipline from a child; if you strike him with a rod, he will not die. If you strike him with the rod, you will save his soul from Sheol.
Prov 29:15 - The rod and reproof give wisdom, but a child left to himself brings shame to his mother.
Ephe 6:4 - Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.

Power to do what is necessary.
You believe it was necessary to kill something to prove a point. Why not give it more life?

It is about the Power in His words that should now be in us.
That every man should have the power and use it thusly is terrifying.

That is not what this lesson was about. After you learned the lesson you can put those flower back if you deem it that important. But I think there is much more pressing issues you can correct for us.
Did he put the flowers back? no. he just had a fit of vengefulness and pretended it was some noble lesson.

I'm pretty sure the bible has a verse that would contradict every one of your assertions and you'd blithely give your own interpretation refuting the 'meaning'. And of course there are plenty of people that people like you will make into fools this way.

And Onan knew that the seed should not be his; and it came to pass, when he went in unto his brother's wife, that he spilled it on the ground, lest that he should give seed to his brother. -- Gen 38:9

So how does this impact you? You do to need to concern yourself with being anyone's mother, not after what you admitted to.
