He just wasted his time and words. But for us it is not wasted. We see. And some of us do not see. An opportunity to open the eyes of the blind. Which is what God do. He doesn't even know he wasted his time and words. Otherwise he would not have done it. And we know that when we encounter him somewhere we should help him not to waste in life. Because he doesn't even know that we saw. He knows very little. So "something" prompted him to write. And that something is important to God. And to me. What was it? He didn't have anything positive to give. Just showed us his negative conclusion without helping us with what he knows. Meaning what he knows he doesn't want to share or he knows that it is not worth to share. So if he has unworthy to share he should make a point of getting worthy to share. But obviously he will need the help of those that see to help him to see also. Now this depends on him realizing his position he is in. And it depends on a humble spirit. The prideful will obviously not allow themselves to see. This is not a "preach". This is Truth. Truth is the power of God in operation. In this case the power of God to open the eyes of understanding.

Yep you are correct. Although the marriage of God and man is mentioned in the Bible they still being children and having not yet heard that personally from God do think that what is written is not what they see.

It comes across as really strange to me that on the one hand you claim to derive authority from the Bible, and on the other hand you go against it.

This thread reminds me of a now late acquaintance, a neighbor of one of my friends. He was, among other things, one of the most generous people you'll ever meet, living in near poverty while adopting disadvantaged kids, giving his stuff away, generous to a fault to a wife who stole and cheated - in short a real gentleman. He would work his butt off to help a neighbor. Except that he was also a gun toting libertarian, a lifelong alcoholic, and a raging homophobe and bigot given to long, loudmouthed, obscene monologues and rants. That he was, in some areas, a fine and good person does not mean he was not also an awful, disgusting jerk in others.

He sold and gave away nearly everything, in part to keep his embezzling wife out of jail, and died in a dingy old travel trailer on borrowed land, drunk and alone.

"Alone"! That is what makes this so pitiful. He did it all for himself. Selfishly living and alone dying.

Better to do it for God. That is unselfish living and the end is not pitiful.

Try to pay attention! We are talking about a "spirit Mother". One that does not have a form of shape but an identity.

Far more interesting is the fact that none of the three agree with each other.

Children, disagreeing does not exclude them from the family. In fact this is common in families. So why is it "interesting" to you when I am sure you also experienced it in your family? The importance is not the knowledge but the family. I am sure not one of us will disagree on the fact that we have one Father. And even if somebody does it is his mistake. Many makes mistakes. We just correct it. No need to attach any importance to a mistake.
