I, too, am skeptical of Kathy's claim of "no atheist relief groups", but in fairness, your post is not directly responsive to it. The organizations to which you refer are, strictly speaking, either not relief groups (American Atheists, American Humanist Association, Atheists Online, Center for Inquiry, Infidel Guy) or not atheist (Hands On Humanity, Red Cross).

The website of the American Humanist Association suggests that the group intends to establish a humanitarian affiliate (to be called Humanist Charities), but that such an entity does not exist at present.

There may be no atheist relief groups, but there are certainly relief groups that are not tied to any particular religion and are thus basically secular. The Red Cross is certainly one such group.

Actually I think atheists are just deceived people! A deceived person does not know they are being deceived. And even though I was never an athiest, I have been a deceived person in the past as well. My differences are that I believed too many of the other false teachings on a spiritual level. As a pagan I was too optomistic and dabbled with the occult. I found my openess had led me astray, and it wasn't OK.
I needed the word of God to get me into the light so I wasn't being swayed with every wind of doctrine! Such as these types Pantheism, Polytheism, and Atheism beliefs.
The word of God is called the sword of the spirit for a reason! When I came to faith I found I was on the wrong side of right and it hurt. I did not like seeing how I had made myself an enemy of God by believing too many lies and trapped by my sin! I saw my sin on that cross and repented, knowing I needed a savior! It's good to have this experience, it's called conviction. And after many tears asking God to forgive me, he has restored my life. This is something only He could do!

And Joseph Smith has corrupted that belief by adding the book of Mormon. God warned us not to add anything the the Holy word of God. You see how false prophets and teachers have been used against the faith. Jesus Christ is the same today and forever. One of the biggest deceptions Satan does is creep into the church and try to distort the word of God!

How do you know that the Bible is the word of God? Please provide your reasoning/proof/evidence to this claim. If you can, then we can talk, but until then what you say is pointless because you have not shown any reason to trust what is in the Bible.
