...and demonstrate that they haven't already been thoroughly investigated.

Oh, that's easy. The very fact that no charges were brought and no one was convicted is proof that the acts in question were not thoroughly investigated.

You see, investigations aren't about figuring out if someone actually did the heinous thing they're accused of doing; they're just a formality on the way to punishing people for the heinous thing you already know, in your heart of hearts, they actually did.

I do love the fact that Trump flat out said he did not request Comey to stop investigating Flynn. So either Trump is lying or Comey is. Now who could it be? Hmmmm.

So Trump kept trying to get Comey's loyalty while Comey didn't even want to speak to Trump.
Despite Priebus' claims, he initiated the contact to attempt to get the FBI to lie and say no Trump associates were in contact with Russia.

So Trump "asks" the top law enforcement official of the United States to swear personal loyalty to him, and kill an ongoing investigation targeting his friend, and fires said official shortly after he refuses to comply. Interesting.
I believe obstruction of justice is a crime.

Well that was a whole lotta nuthin'. What was "Boom?" It boils down to Comey thought Trump was trying to influence him and get him "on the team" and Comey didn't like that. Hardly groundbreaking.

And then after failing to get him on board, Trump fired him and lied about the reason.

Nothing to see here.

I expect the next BOOM moment will be: "FBI Official: Trump is kind of an *******."

How could the Senate confirm anyone nominated by Trump for FBI director? He'll have already made them kiss the ring and promise to do his bidding.
