Brilliant Light Power Going To Market - Free Energy Generator

That's no good, those are three sided triangles. I'm sure what Mills needs are completely different. ;)

My bad

Who knew making something that violated the laws of physics was so complicated?

It's just a shame that although the fundamental principle is unsound, it is getting stopped at mundane engineering challenges

Have you searched for obituaries?

It might be wise to start the search in timeframes that predate his alleged endorsements of Mills.

I did consider contacting the College to see if they had an email address for him that they could give me, as it does seem that Mills is fraudulently claiming Farrell's qualifications and awards as his own or, at least, not correcting people who falsely attribute them to him. I can't imagine many academics would be happy with that.

Wherever are you getting those ideas. The photovoltaic application is going to be later, since there are complications. But they are still making progress on that front.

First they were using commercially-available cells. Now they're designing their own. What changed?

Why, exactly, do the pv cells have to be triangular and arranged in a geodesic pattern around the dome? Why can't a cubical arrangement of off-the shelf rectangular cells work?

Of course it has been demonstrated already. Mills has published scientific experiments that demonstrate the existence of hydrino, via multiple methods.
Again, from Dr. Booker's 2016 validation report:

"“The predicted molecular hydrino H2(1/4) was identified as a product of power producing ells, CIHT cells and thermal cells, by techniques such as MAS H NMR, electron-beam excitation emission spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy with surface enhanced Raman scattering (SERS), time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectroscopy (ToF-SIMS), electrospray ionization time-of-flight mass spectroscopy, (ESI-ToFMS), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and photoluminescence emission spectroscopy.”

I've already asked how, for example, ToF-SIMS or ESI-ToFMS could distinguish between otherwise identical atomic species with different electron energies (answer: they can't), and one wonders how Raman, XPS or PLE could detect something that doesn't interact with electromagnetic radiation. In fact, this looks like someone's copied a list of techniques from an independent laboratory's brochure to make it look all sciency.

And it's not BLP doing it ; the company that has made concentrator photovoltaic cells commercially is still doing the work. Lots has to be customized for BLPs very unique application. Please note that cPV cells have always operated singly and in isolation, as squares or rectangles. In the geodesic model they will be triangular cells that are joined together with electrical and cooling connections. This is not a trivial problem especially given the massive heat involved.

...snip...

You seem to have missed that on the landing page of Brilliant Power they say:

"which is down-converted in energy to facilitate the production of electricity using commercially-available concentrator photovoltaic cells."

Who are we to believe you or the company itself?

One of the recent videos has Dr. Ramanujachary telling the audience that such findings have been met with silence from the academic community.

Then why did he go back on his promise of supplying hydrinos on request?

It's just a shame that although the fundamental principle is unsound, it is getting stopped at mundane engineering challenges YET AGAIN

FTFY!

I'll stick around a bit, but it won't be for very long. Not much into gloating.
Nice name btw.
I don't think the people here are very much into gloating, it's just that when a free energy person posts for years, and is of course very, very, sure , they could at least do us the courtesy of admitting they were wrong before they disappear. Instead, when it is clear even to them that there is no free energy, no "four nuclear reactors in a cubic foot" you never hear from them again.

It makes more sense when you realize that hewrote "Raman" when what he really meant was "Ramen".

This is a time-honored, traditional technique where you place a large bowl of freshly cooked ramen upside down over your head, and peer carefully the noodles dangling down in front of your eyes.

Many mysteries have been observed this way.

The massive heat is a problem?!

The generator supposedly puts out more heat than 4 nuclear reactors and they're trying to build a desktop device around it. It supposedly generates enough heat to make graphite glow several times brighter than the sun but they're going to vent the heat instead of using it.

IF Hydrino theory is accurate, Mills and company are morons. Regardless of if they realize it, they're working on the least efficient way of utilizing the phenom imaginable. The only way it could be LESS efficient would be if they attached tiny turbines to plastic pinwheels and ran them off the breeze generated by venting the heat from their device.

Debates about the science aside, you'd have to be a knuckle-dragging, brain damage idiot with early onset dementia to give Mills and his Keystone Cops so much as a wooden nickel. They claim to have this massive heat source yet seem to be running an internal competition to see who can waste the most energy from the reaction before generating electricity.

Post 3050. Why won't you answer the questions?

Is it because you will not, under any circumstances, abandon your belief in this scam, no matter how many excuses over how many decades are produced?

And spare us the "gloating" crap. I would be delighted if Mills turned out to be right, considering the benefits to humanity. So would most if not all of the other participants in this thread. You don't get to portray running away as some sort of noble act.

Why would such a paradgm shifting discovery be met with silence from the academic community? Perhaps because it's ********?

I'm not claiming to be a knuckle-dragging, brain damaged idiot, by any means, but I will say my understanding of partial physics (if that's even the correct term) is so limited you could likely place everything I do know in a thimble and still have plenty of room left for a refreshing drink of water. And yet, even I, with my ever limited faculties can see the complete idiocy of the claims being made by Mills et al, starting with the (claimed) extreme heat not being used to drive a simple steam turbine to generate electricity. Especially given the elaborate cooling system they claim to have that the turbine could easily be looped into. The classic idea of, the shortest distance between two points is a straight line, seems to completely escape the Milliots, who have decided the shortest distance between two points requires a trip around the Moon a couple times. It shocking that someone who can write a cohesive sentence can't see the utter insanity of it all after so many years of promises, no less.
