Brilliant Light Power Going To Market - Free Energy Generator

Not open for further replies.
.......The area of photovoltaic required for 1MW is a variable aspect of the design and operation........

Have you any idea how ludicrous this set up is? By your own admission, the thing is an inefficient generator of light, and produces a lot of heat. Yet the idea is to choose to collect the light with a highly inefficient technology* and use that to produce electricity, whilst letting all that nasty waste heat go. You know, that same heat that every other power station on the planet uses to turn turbines to produce electricity. Can you explain this childishly stupid set-up?

*I think the most efficient PV cells operate at around 22/ 23%, from memory

Thermacore had Mill's aqueous cells in their facilities for a while in the early 1990s. Those cells would run for months, producing excess heat. Thermacore has a patent on the cell.

While still hooked up to electrical power, correct?

How much heat should they have produced when combining hydrogen and oxygen to produce the catalyst water (as well as from the electrical input) and how much more heat was beyond that and thus "excess"?

I have to congratulate you in making a sentence that doesn't violate the conservation of energy.

Let's see deeper on that. How do you know that «water is ionized upon catalyzing hydrino formation» and not just because of thermolisis? We have been talking here of temperatures around 3K K, haven't we? What is what you are describing? A chamber made of graphite, streams of molten silver as a conveyor belt of Mysterious Oxide™, tungsten electrodes, hydrogen? How can you tell hydrino formation from some kind of occam-s-razor redox pump?

[Allow me one week to reply to all your messages, markie. They are so juicy]
A substantive post. To keep it very short, the spectrum of light emitted and the excess energy produced go far beyond what a redox reaction would accomplish. About the water thermolysis, it wouldn't have time to thermalize. In the very brief time the Mysterious Oxide loses it's grip on it's oxgyen and the oxygen combines with hydrogen to form water, another hydrogen has already encountered that water molecule and is catalyzed to hydrino. The water then ionizes from that process and the oxygen is quickly recovered by the thermally stable oxide.

Were they plugged in to the mains at the time?

The answer is yes of course they were. They have never had a single device that didn't require the use of "ignition" energy. The use of the word "ignition" is so obviously carefully chosen to give the impression that it's just a starter level of energy. In one of the videos it is so blatant when he mentioned they are able to switch the ignition energy off for milliseconds and the reaction continues... until they then switch the ignition energy back on.

But don't worry any day now they'll crack it!

As I said right at the beginning this is nothing more than the usual "over unity" generator scam. They have never yet had anything that gives out more energy than they have to put in, and we know that because if they had they would have had actual working generators decades ago when they first started the scam. Usually it's smoke and mirrors, this one is vapour and photovoltaic cells!

That's the second time you have implicated hydrinos as the cause of autism. Please. The extreme rise in autism rates is disturbing and vexing, but let's be reasonable.

Is it unreasonable to inquire whether a substance with properties unknown to science, that happens to be a variant form of one of the fundamental elements of organic compounds, and that cannot be contained or excluded, might affect human central nervous system development in subtle but destructive ways, causing cumulative detectable consequences concurrently with the first known releases of the substance? You'll have to explain why that's so unreasonable.

Is it because the amounts released are too small? If so, please show how you measured the two key numbers in that comparison: the amounts released, and the threshold amount for biological effect or toxicity.

Is it because the amounts released so far are much lower than the amounts that will be released if the reactors are put into production? That's plausible (given the assumption that the reactors do work as claimed) but hardly reassuring.

Is it because it's not reasonable to ruin a harmless fun fantasy of free energy by bringing in real-word implications? Ordinarily I'd agree, but unfortunately there are people claiming this reaction actually exists and can be used (and marketed for profit) in the real world. I would hope those people would be the last to fault me for addressing the claims at face value.

Ah, so the safety testing amounts to 'let's expose coworkers and their children over long periods of time and see if any "mysterious malady" crops up'. That's not anywhere near "reasonable caution".
As hard as we may try to forecast things, some things are seen clearly only in hindsight.

Wait, so the hydrogen and the "thermally stable" "Mysterious Oxide" ain't already, well, thermalized? What are the temperature differences then?

Low grade heat like that, in a babied environment, was just not commercially competitive with fire. My guess.

From linked article...

The energy released heats up a shield (called ‘blackbody radiator’) to incandescent temperatures of 3,000 degrees C. The light the radiator throws off is captured by photo-voltaic cells to let out a stream of electricity.

What do you "guess" is "Low grade" about "heat like that"?

Reasonable points. In fairness, Mills would much rather harvest high energy EUV and soft x-ray photons directly. But the technology is not there yet. So, he has to settle with heating a dome up to glowing temperatures, throwing off huge amounts of waste heat in order to capture a relatively small portion of visible light. I too, cringe. Personally I would like to see coal and gas plants retrofitted, harvesting the heat of SunCells.

:sdl:

Have you forgot what scam you are trying to promote?

At the petrol station a 500ml bottle of spring water is £0.79, a 10kg bag of coal is £6.99, a litre of petrol £1.20.

Your claimed hydrino generators are magnitudes cheaper at producing heat than burning any readily available hydrocarbon.

If they worked they would have been in use for decades.

What?
You wrap the heat source in pipes, and through those pipes you pump water. That super-heated water squirts out of the end at high pressure and spins a turbine. The turbine is attached to a generator. Could anything be simpler?

It isn't waste heat it is the product of the generator! That is what it is meant to produce. The "waste" is in using a ridiculously inefficient and over engineered (well actually so far "un"-engineered) method to convert a small amount of the generator's output to electricity.

But simple doesn't net you millions over the years....

What is astonishing is that Mills gets away with it, especially when one of his claims from decades ago is that the energy was measured by a "bomb calorimeter" so he already had the generator hooked up to a simple heat exchanger!

How old is Mills? I mean, he must be hoping that he dies before he gets found out by his investors, or by the US equivalent of the fraud Office. Otherwise he'll just have to keep this going for year after year, worrying.......

Thanks! :)

That's cool!

At the moment, I can't see how this is similar to what you described re how hydrinos are formed, other than "resonant/resonance energy transfer". I'll go back through your posts, including links, to see if I can understand better how - in detail - hydrinos form, and why - in detail - it is impossible for a hydrino to be converted to a normal H atom by absorption of an EUV photon. In the meantime, if you have a source which provides these details in a concise form ...

Well I think its time for 'another post'?

You seem to be running from my questions, tsk tsk, well I'll just keep asking them until you run back to your employer and tell them you've failed trying to stop people talking about their scam.

You aren't doing very well in trying to shield Mills' fraud from people who can see it for what it is. Shouldn't you be trying harder? You know like with evidence that his stuff works? lol

Yes that it what they say but they have said that before:

Markie what happened to this contract?

3rd repeat of question - the questions will be repeated until answered properly....oh and just for fun could you explain why they keep changing the company name?
HydroCatalysis was okay for the 1990's so why keep changing it every few years, lol.
