Who killed Meredith Kercher? part 23

It has been a closely held secret until revealed recently on ISF, but William Shakespeare had precognition of PGP's new physics. He explained those principles in part in Bottom's speech in Midsummer Night's Dream:

The eye of man hath not heard,
the ear of man hath not seen,
man's hand is not able to taste,
his tongue to conceive,
nor his heart to report ....

Could someone explain again how many inches are in a pound? Or was it how weight multiplied by distance equals, what, velocity or momentum or something?

Divided by distance to stop, you get the pounds force.

The only person to have such a motive would be someone anxious to deflect suspicion away from themself.

In Honor Bound Raff himself recounts a story he once read in the paper of a man murdering his wife and then staging a burglary to try to cover up it was an inside job.

Likewise, a acquaintance of Amanda contacted the Perugia police within days of Amanda's arrest to inform them that she had staged a burglary on a roommate who had slept with her boyfriend, and had been made to apologise as the girl was left distressed by the act.

So, Raff and Amanda were no strangers to the phenomenon.

You are making this up. If not, then you are quoting from someone else who made it up. Like your refusal to provide a cite from a forensic-DNA expert who stands by Stefanoni's work, you can provide no cite for this.

And no, the faki-wiki does not count. Quoting made-up factoids from that doesn't count.

If you're referring to the April Fool's prank which Amanda participated in before going to Italy, that hardly counts. The embellishments to that contained in your fiction above prove it.

I once asked Machiavelli on this very thread why such a thing as the April Fools prank even means anything...... his reply was to suggest that the way the whole of Seattle suppressed the story surrounding it, pointed to its importance. He said that the whole city of Seattle had been practising the Mafia discipline of Omerta to cover up such an obvious pre-behaviour to the crime in Perugia.

It was nonsense then, and it is nonsense when you simply pass on fiction. Either that or you're making it up on your own.

Could someone explain again (in the PGP "new physics") how many inches are in a pound? Or was it how weight multiplied by distance equals, what, velocity or momentum or something? (In the old physics, it would equal work, for that part of the distance vector in the direction of the force vector.)

There used to be schillings in a pound..... now it's just inches.

One imagines someone new to this whole thing coming to ISF/JREF to inquire about the events in Perugia in late 2007. One read of the thread on Vixen's NEW PHYSICS would cause them to never return.

Er, let me get this right. You are claiming a 'rock' travelling at 28 mph came in through the shuttered window from 12'4" below, or even from 6'6" from across the car park, with the restriction of a shoulder high railing, in full view of passing traffic...?

No, I asked YOU to show it, lapping up all the crib sheet factoids. Samson said it was 28mph, based on Olympic level female shot putters.

I never claimed the rock was travelling at 28 mph or at any particular speed. Therefore, I do not have to show anything. Nor did I accept Samson's statement as fact. I told you that his statement didn't count when I asked you to cite a source.

Explain this one in more detail please. Very specifically, and exactly as described above.

(However, since it's utter nonsense which makes a mockery of basic physics, I'm kind of wagering that you won't be able to.................)

Sorry, it was me who calculated the mass of this slab and told YOU what it was.

And how embarrassing, you had never heard of pounds-force.

It was you who calculated the mass of this slab? Ummmmm what? The mass of the rock comes from the evidential record. You had absolutely nothing to do with the knowledge of the mass of the rock. (And has the misdirectional wordplay changed from it being a "boulder" to a "slab"? How exciting!).

And, erm, of course I know of pounds-force. Unfortunately you do not know the difference between pounds-force and pounds (and/or you're employing yet more sophistry to try to disguise your ignorance). Pounds are not a unit of force. Pounds-force are a unit of force. I suggest you do some basic research. Especially before bandying around words like "embarrassing". How very embarrassing :D :D :D

Vixen, when we tell you that high school boys can regularly throw a 12 pound shot 50+ feet, what response does your brain come up with first:

a) Oh, well then, it looks like a grown athletic man that plays semi-professional basketball can probably throw a 9 pound rock a bit over 6 feet without too much trouble. Looks like I was wrong, my bad!

b) This is actually evidence that all of the high school athletic associations are paid off by the Amanda Knox PR campaign. Errmahgah!

c) Damnit don't they know I'm in MENSA and routinely beat national chess champions when I was only a toddler.

d) Static.

Perhaps this will help explain why the window could not have been smashed from the outside, as if by a trajectory from either the car park or the ground below.

The conclusion to be drawn is that it was a staged burglary, with the glass deliberately broken to make it look as though there had been a burglary.

The only person to have such a motive would be someone anxious to deflect suspicion away from themself.

Oh, brother.

1) Yes, Raffaele did recount this story in his book to equate it to what he and Amanda were being accused of doing. I know this may come as a shock to you, but the action of staging a crime to cover for another is not exactly a secret known only criminals. Go figure.

2). No acquaintance of Amanda contacted the Perugia police about the April Fool's prank she and some girlfriends played on a roommate (who, by the way, did not sleep with Amanda's boyfriend as you falsely claim). Nor was she "made to apologize". Since this was off-campus, there was no authority who could "make" her apologize. She apologized because she realized that she had really scared the girl.

The PGP have falsely claimed before that it was a "rape prank" but this is the first time I've heard the claim that the girl had "slept with" Amanda's boyfriend. What next? Did Amanda also kill the girl's puppy?

Sure, a 9 lb. rock. But not a 9 lb. boulder or 9 lb. slab.

I have more heard more exciting news from the world of PGP new physics. If one takes weight, multiplies by distance, and divides by the distance to stop (stop what, posting nonsense?), one gets pounds-force. I hope the PGP new physicists don't spend all their pounds-force at once.

The PGP have been spending nine years turning the most minor of discrepancy or memory from Raffaele or Amanda calling "liar liar".

Vixen invents things from fantasy and expects us to believe her simply on her say so.

No one was supposed to know that the Knox PR machine had paid off high school athletic associations. I need to know who told you that so that we can plug the leak.

If not it will get out that the Knox campaign just brought down the Italian government. Don't tell anyone.

Meanwhile, as an aside, I think we should always discuss the question of who might have killed Meredith Kercher in the context of eroticism.
Did Amanda and Raffaele charge headlong into a game after watching that engaging French rom com Amelie?

These crimes are commonplace in Italy. It now turns out Sarah Scazzi died the same way.

Investigation investigator Aldo Tarricone framed in a new perspective the dark death of Sarah Scazzi to Avetrana, for which they are in jail, sentenced to life imprisonment, the Sabrina's cousin and aunt Cosima Misseri. The analysis, accurate, was collected by the same Tarricone in the book " The end game - Hypothesis of a crime " and leads to the theory of accidental death occurred in an erotic game.

Far too soon to close either case in my opinion.

Vixen on biochemistry:

DNA, being a protein,

Vixen on cell biology:

She extracted the cell from its nucleus

Vixen on classical mechanics:

If thrown from outside, the impact on the window/shutter (assuming it can get through the gap of the outter shutters, which Massei accept it could not have) would be weight of the object times distance travelled, which is say, 10lb x six feet (72")= 720lbs (kinetic energy) divided by the distance it comes to a halt.

Vixen on arithmetic:

If thrown from outside, the impact on the window/shutter (assuming it can get through the gap of the outter shutters, which Massei accept it could not have) would be weight of the object times distance travelled, which is say, 10lb x six feet (72")= 720lbs (kinetic energy) divided by the distance it comes to a halt. Now it would have come to a stop almost immediately, say a generous 0.08inches, to give an impact of 9,000lb.

Vixen on dimensional analysis:

In a foot system, it is OK to convert into inches, as the distance at 'stop' level is often a small fraction of the distance travelled, hence it makes sense to convert 6 feet into 72 inches, if the stop distance is a fraction of an inch. (This is just a nicetie, and of course, not mandatory.) the weight of the rock was expressed in lbs for similar reason.

:)

Here a video of a guy throwing a 4kg rock (at 1:32):

thanks abaddon :-)

Here's another one with a stone thrown through a window. I can't see any splitter falling on the ground (at 0:17):
