The Unofficial Election 2016 Results Thread PLEASE

I read that, according to exit polls, 88% of Georgia's evangelicals voted Trump. Why?? Trump graps women by the pussy and all that, and doesn't even pretend to be god-fearing!?

What would Jesus do?

What makes you think Southern evangelicals really represent the values they claim to? They're Ted Nugent wrapped in Biblical verses.

The Dumpster will eventually get around to scapegoating Jews (or whatever codeword he decides to use instead) for America's losing ways... so at least you've got that to look forward to.

That's the worst part. You can't reassure some people by telling them they'll be okay. There are a lot of people in this country that the Orange Menace, himself, has promised won't be okay. Put yourself in the shoes of immigrants, minorities and Muslims and imagine what they are feeling right now.

I wonder what the popular vote will turn out to be? Up thread, someone said it was still projected to put Hillary on top.

Before the election of 2000, I always assumed that if the "wrong" candidate ever won the electoral college, it would be abolished. Obviously, that didn't happen. Then, I revised my prediction to be that if the "wrong" candidate won the election, and that candidate turned out to be an awful president, then it would be abolished.

Perhaps we'll find out if that prediction is any better.

Saving unborn children is the excuse anti-abortionist use to punish women for having sex.
I won't post again on abortion in this thread but for probably all the people I know in favor of outlawing abortion (myself included) punishing women for having sex has nothing to do with it and saving unborn children has everything to do with it.
Your belief in your stated reason says more about you than people like myself who truly are concerned about the lives of these unborn children. I am also concerned about the parents.

I assume Clinton will take a healthy majority in California.

The popular vote prediction has been more or less steady at Clinton +1.4-1.6 all night.

New York Times has Trump up by 78,000 votes with 99% percent of the votes counted in PA. Hard to see how Clinton makes that amount up.

Wait. The was fox Chicago, not fox national. The hell? Fox Chicago was repeating ap, not fox network. Sorry.

I think the best case scenario is that Donald is the figurehead and lets Pence make all the decisions. Pence would **** **** up too but maybe not as badly.
