Trump runs for POTUS/ Trumped Up! Part VII

Simply that they are announced will hurt her. The fact they nominated someone with such a self inflicted vulnerability is a problem.

There is no such thing as completely clean politician. Your candidate seems "clean" only because no one bothered to put his/her life under microscope. After 30 years of withhunt your libertarian candidate would be in same state as Hillary:

"I just can't trust him/her."

That is why, by some miracle, libertarians hit all the good pre-campaign check boxes: governor, successful boot strap businessman, ethical, etc.
You are really cute.

You should run a candidate that can't be hit by this kind of foul play.
Oh, c'mon, that's impossible. Nobody is pure as the driven snow. And even if such a hypothetical person existed, the opponents would just make something up.

That's just more evidence that libertarians live in a fantasy world.

Obama did not have a self inflicted wound like this. Nor did bush.

Mader mentioned that it is bound to happen after a career spanning 30 years. This is why a lot of presidents come from governors or very short careers.

I've heard others say that other government figures have had similar issues with intermingling personal/public devices.

A recent example is the use of a RNC server by Carl Rove while in the White House, doing governmental business and serving as the political advisor to Shrub.

BTW, Bush admin people deleted MILLIONS of emails in addition to using a private server. How many years of investigation did that cause?

Which describes Republicans and not libertarians. Libertarians and objectivists have a long history of animosity.

Yes they do and as bad as I think Republican political philosophy is the Libertarian position is worse. In fact it embodies Ayn Rand's positions. It's also grossly over simplifies complex issues. Its more every man for himself as opposed to we're all in this together.

That's because he was a Senator and all of his emails and texts were private.

Ayn Rand regularly berated the libertarian movement as not embodying her positions.
