Trump runs for POTUS/ Trumped Up! Part VII

Yes I recall the article about Obermann deciding to move (it was linked here) from Trump Palace. My friend lives in one of the Trump buildings near Central Park. A woman who lives in Trump's UN Tower also said the same thing.

I guess Trump has figured out the luxury condo business and excels at it. Which is where he has made his money.
You'd think so, but if he's providing a quality service for a quality price where's his edge? They might not be very profitable at all, and more for vanity than anything else. Who can tell when there's only Trump's word to go on?

Bannon has been calling the shots ever since the first debate. I really think that Bannon....at least in his own mind..is playing a strategic game:First destroy the GOP,then build ,with Trump, a new party built around what amounts to White Nationalism.

If the GOP's numbers in the congressional races start to go down as a result of Donald's meltdown in the third debate, then the panic will really set in.

Just let them all be so depressed that they stay home. Trump's declaration that he may doubt the election results very probably will help with Democratic turnout thank to very much.

That's the play behind the Orange Menace's decision to play coy about accepting the election results. Copy from the debate thread:

I think this a pure Bannon play. Get the Orange Menace to jam house Republicans and not certify results. That's why they're going after Ryan now. Burning down half the house is still a win for Bannon. If Bannon can't have the presidency, he'll attempt to take 2/3 of GOP voters for his new party.

It goes without saying that this is totally frickin' insane, of course. That really doesn't seem to matter any more. The alt-reality engendered by Rove and Limbaugh is rapidly collapsing to a singularity.

Here is the problem with your theory. You're subconsciously or consciously taking the position that the Dems are responsible for the sexual abuse accusations. If they are organic, they can't do anything about when they come out. There is no doubt that people may become inured to them, however I think whatever damage they did has already been done.

Everybody seems to assume that the Access Hollywood tape killed Trump, but his election chances were tanking before that. Seems strange given all the horrible and stupid things Trump has said, but the thing that probably killed his campaign more than anything else were his comments about Alicia Machado. That sealed his fate with women.

I doubt the campaign is involved at all. I would expect that one or more of the Dem super PACs is/are.

You can get a driver's license. They issue birth certificates in Mexico. State DMVs are only interested in verifying your age and who you are.

It is far from universal. From a 2015 article:

Twelve states and the District of Columbia enacted laws to allow unauthorized immigrants to obtain a driver’s licenses. These states—California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah, Vermont and Washington—issue a license if an applicant provides certain documentation, such as a foreign birth certificate, a foreign passport, or a consular card and evidence of current residency in the state. Eight of these states extended driving privileges in 2013. In 2015, Delaware and Hawaii enacted legislation to give unauthorized immigrants driving privileges.

Roger Stone is going to do fake exit polls in minority areas to "prove" election fraud.

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news...p-exit-poll-roger-stone-rigged-election-claim
Stone, who did not identify the particular precincts volunteers would be targeting, argued that the polling methodology, was “designed by professionals”, but was unable to identify who these professionals were. The former Richard Nixon adviser added that the effort was being run by the “Stop the Steal” organization, a group founded by Stone in the lead up to the Republican national convention in July, which organized protests aimed at preventing party delegates from taking the nomination away from Trump.

I think I've mentioned that someone capable of getting a ground-game organised from the mass of Trump supporters could be very dangerous. This might be such a person.

What if Donald runs again in 2020? I think there is an excellent chance the Republicans would be stupid and crazy enough to nominate him again.
There have been some underwhelming numbers re: Latinos and registration/turnout. More anchor babies will be eligible in 2020, I'm thinking, and family loyalties are deep. Deep enough to affect '16, I think, but maybe more so in 4 years.

Do you honestly think it wasn't said to be funny?

Trump doesn't have that luxury in the current situation. It would be like Bill Cosby joking to a female journalist interviewing him that he might try slipping something into her drink sometime, "to be funny".

And fail miserably. Bannon's name will be anathema among Conservatives if the GOP suffers disaster in the congress as well as the White House. Bannon is probably as hopelessly delusional as Trump.

All it took was the mildest rake of the muck to turn this stuff up. When the early narrative of Trump/Crazy Antics and Clinton/Scandal started getting old journalists looked into Trump/Scandal to keep the punters engaged it turned out to be a goldmine. To not much surprise, of course.

You're making the mistake of thinking The Donald and his supporters are living in the real world.
