Hillary Clinton is Done: part 3

How would Trump look in a swimming costume?

I can't find a word stronger than repulsive. You know he's officially obese? Hillary isn't.

First of all, Trump is not officially obese. He is officially below the BMI threshold (although by a smidge). Second, how do you know that Hillary is not officially obese? Unlike Trump, she didn't release her height and weight measurements. Third, I don't know if that picture has been photoshopped or not, or from how long ago it was taken, but Hillary is most definitely obese in that picture. Putting a Hillary of that size on a beach is not good imagery for her campaign. It reminds too many of this.

Item #1) You know the drill, don't personalize the argument. Just...don't.
Items #2) And I can't believe I have to say this, but the Civil War (both the historical period and the recent movie) are off topic for this thread. there's an entire section where you can post to your heart's delight about the various motivations and ramification of the conflict between the states...This ain't it. Now, stop it.

Policy isn't a strong point of people supporting Trump. This is why the personal attack against Hillary are so prominent.
Well, their hero sees women as toilet bowls - occasionally pretty and plated with gold but with the primary purpose of taking his ****.

Antibiotics can take care of pneumonia. What's the cure for an unhealthy penchant for privacy that repeatedly creates unnecessary problems? — Former Obama adviser David Axelrod earlier this week on Twitter

Damn fine question!

It wasn't a "stomach virus" ...

Was she not dehydrated following a stomach bug? I can't find detail now as all the links are about the latest episode.

Hillary's healthy as a horse -- and nearly the size of one, too!

Notice that Bill is texting one of his bimbos as Hillary waddles off.

:dl:

Fair's fair, I guess. It's not as though nobody's taken the piss out of Don at all...

Yes. You assumed that cold weather was the major causative factor in pneumonia.

I don't think cold weather causes pneumonia, but I know for sure the vast majority of cases of influenza flu-like viruses and colds happen in winter. I also know that many people who have those infections get chest infections, including pneumonia, so I think it's extremely likely that more cases of pneumonia - and significantly more - happen in winter than summer.

I can't find data that says either way, so please feel free to prove that I'm wrong, because I'm open to evidence on it.

And you got the seasons wrong.

No.

In USA, autumn is often considered to start at the autumnal equinox, and this year the northern autumn equinox conveniently happens to be in two days' time.

Even if you take the scientific date of 1 Sept, it's a whole fortnight into autumn, and with current temperatures in the high 20s, trying to pedantically debate the start of autumn looks pretty dumb to me.

I'm going to take you seriously that you are not joking, you truly are that poorly informed about the nature of infectious disease.

Viral and bacterial infections are in no way confined to seasons or the weather. Some of these pathogens have evolved to spread more efficiently during cold weather for numerous reasons I won't waste my time explaining as you can easily look it up.

No she did not have the stomach flu. Stomach flu most often refers to norovirus which has nothing to do with influenza, which is a respiratory infection.

Apparently some pathogen, most like a virus and most likely not influenza which is still only occurring as sporadic cases, affected a number of people in the campaign including Clinton.

A viral upper respiratory infection which can occur at any time of the year can, in some cases, lead to secondary bacterial pneumonia which according to the reports, sounds like what Clinton had.

Fainting can occur with heat and standing for a long period of time regardless if a person is ill or dehydrated. It is called heat syncope. Being ill and/or dehydrated can make fainting more likely.

Clinton fainted. That's it. Nothing to see here, move along. She has/had a respiratory infection, nothing to see there either, move along.

How about neither?

Viral and bacterial infections are in no way confined to seasons or the weather.

I didn't say they were - instead, I stated the fact that colds and influenza are far more prevalent during winter.

Unless you'd like to dispute this, you are not making sense.

For instance, I believe you're a nurse - why on earth do you think the infuenza vaccine is given at the start of winter? Gee, could it be because most cases of influenza happen in winter?

How about a Harvard paper entitled "Why flu strikes in winter"?

No she did not have the stomach flu.

Excuse me?

I have the choice of believing your "expert" analysis, or the official communique from the State Department, which stated that she did indeed have a stomach virus causing dehydration.

It's ok, I'll accept your apology in advance for you not understanding what you were responding to.

Clinton fainted.

Twice.

That's it. Nothing to see here, move along. She has/had a respiratory infection, nothing to see there either, move along.

Spoken like a true skeptic.

Stomach flu = faint.
Respiratory infection = faint.

Aside from Dubbya's dad, how many presidents have fainted on the job?

Nothing to see....

I have no dog in this fight, but if I did, I'd be concerned rather than flippant. Apart from anything else, it gives perfect ammunition to Trump, and I have no doubt he'll be playing that tune in the debates.

Hillary isn't healthy enough to govern.

Doesn't sound that silly when two fainting episodes have happened. What if there's an emergency and Hillary faints? Does Bill take over?

Google "fainting Frank".

I'm more interested to know if she has learned self-defense against pretzels.

What a bunch of nonsense. Tell me, what are your medical credentials. Also, to answer your last question, you should study up on government and the role of Vice President.

You are quite possibly right.

But I also think people are rightfully suspicious, due to past behavior.

Had there not been a video of the fainting incident, do you think we would know about it now? How about the pneumonia diagnosis? The fact they were silent on it for days informs us as to how forthcoming they are on medical matters. And that fits a pattern.

Like I said, for now I am assuming "that's it". But no one should be surprised that healthy skepticism has, for many, morphed into cynicism. That's why they feel like they may be getting "played", and so are reluctant to "move on".

Were's the "healty skepticism" regarding Trump's health and obviously bogus note from his doctor?

Here is some evidence that support your theory.

Seasonal Patterns of Invasive Pneumococcal Disease

"In all geographic areas, invasive pneumococcal disease exhibited a distinct winter seasonality, including an increase among children in the fall preceding that for adults and a sharp spike in incidence among adults each year between December 24 and January 7."

As long as she's going to be fine - which she is - then who cares about such minutiae?
