Trump runs for POTUS / Trumped Up! Part IV

I swear, if Clinton were able to accuse Trump of having a vasectomy, which means that his kids were not his, he would turn around and accuse her of actually being the one who had a vasectomy.

The stupid thing is, it isn't the first time he tried this. Remember the "she's got ties to Russia" crap? See how well that stuck.

Yeah, yelling "YOUR'RE ANOTHER" real loud is not proving to be a good tactic for Trump.

It turns out that there may be something to that "voter fraud" business after all.

Trump's campaign chief is illegally registered to vote in Florida.

This bit sounds like it could be a story on its own.

Bannon also co-owns a condominium in Los Angeles and is known to stay at the so-called “Breitbart embassy”, a luxurious $2.4m townhouse beside the supreme court in Washington DC, where his website’s staff work from basement offices. A Bloomberg profile of Bannon published last October, with which he cooperated, stated that Bannon “occupies” the townhouse and described it as being “his”.

But according to records at the DC office of tax and revenue, the Breitbart house is actually owned by Mostafa El-Gindy, an Egyptian businessman and former member of parliament. Gindy has received favorable coverage from Breitbart News, which styles him as a “senior statesman”, without an accompanying disclosure that he is the website’s landlord.

Yeah, yelling "YOUR'RE ANOTHER" real loud is not proving to be a good tactic for Trump.

While the resounding response from the alt-right to HRC's speech seems to be, "YES WE'RE RACIST, AND YOU SHOULD BE TOO. CUCK! #MAGA"

Trump just cancelled the Phoenix event next Wednesday - speculation was that he was going to nail down his immigration policy.

Previously he had booked facilities that could hold 4-5K. This time, it was 500 and invitation only.

It seems that about face on immigration is already having consequences:

Sarah Palin warns Donald Trump on deportation U-turn

Trump is going to fall flat on his face. Alienating that core support he stirred up while failing to attract new voters to replace them.
We're very close to the point where we can call fiasco on this whole enterprise.

Trump's only recourse, I think, is to make this about him not changing his stance. He can't actually lay down a policy which won't blow up in his face. If pressed on what it actually is, once was, or may be one day, he'll keep batting it away with "I'm not going to explain that again".

Or he might cast the c-word at Sarah Palin : there's just no telling with this crazy guy. That's why he gets my vote! (Now that really would be fraud.)

He tweeted that the event is changing to a larger venue not cancelled.

He is probably just preparing for his big rally where Melania will be explaining all about her visa status back when she was.posing for nude photos. Probably will be a pay per view event. The biggest pay per view since Wrestle Mania III.

Trump is doing for the GOP in the West what LBS did for the Dems in the South.

When LBJ signed the Civil Rights Act he reportedly said "there goes the South for a generation.” Today, Trump is accomplishing the same feat for the Republican party in the West.

His alienation of minorities is so strong that Republicans are now afraid that the three West Coast States and Colorado will be even further out of reach for future Republicans.

Consider the following. Hardly any money is being spent by Hillary Clinton in Washington, Oregon, California and now Colorado.

The Clinton campaign is so confident of Colorado, that they are shifting their focus to Arizona. There are now 160 paid Clinton staffers in Arizona and millions being spent on advertising. In contrast, no advertising between now and the election is being spent in Colorado.

Only once has a Democratic candidate for President won in Arizona in 65 years. And it's a dead heat. The demographics have been changing in Arizona making it more hospitable for Democrats. However, the prospects still haven't changed enough that would have made most political strategists believe that the Blue team would have a shot.

But along comes Trump and now the Dems are fighting hard for a state that at best they would have mounted a token effort. It is making down ticket races competitive including possibly McCain's seat.

Thanks Donald.

Trump's tweet:

"Will be in Phoenix, Arizona on Wednesday," Trump posted on Twitter. "Changing venue to much larger one. Demand is unreal. Polls looking great!"

The polls have him up 5% which is within their margin of error.

Less likely to see McCain lose though. He has 20-25% leads over both his primary opponents and Democratic opponent.

So Donald's campaign CEO hates Jews. What a shocker.

Donald Trump's campaign CEO Stephen Bannon was branded an anti-Semite by the same ex-wife who claimed he choked her, court documents reveal.

Mary Louise Piccard said in a 2007 court declaration that Bannon didn't want their twin daughters attending the Archer School for Girls in Los Angeles because many Jewish students were enrolled at the elite institution.

"The biggest problem he had with Archer is the number of Jews that attend," Piccard said in her statement signed on June 27, 2007.

"He said that he doesn't like the way they raise their kids to be 'whiny brats' and that he didn't want the girls going to school with Jews," Piccard wrote.

Yeah, I was hoping John McCain was going to lose his seat because of Donald but that is looking pretty unlikely. Oh well.

Trump’s mob-linked ex-associate gives $5,400 to campaign

A Russian-born, mafia-linked businessman whose ties to both Donald Trump and loyalists of Russian President Vladimir Putin have sparked scrutiny, visited Trump Tower last month for undisclosed business, he told POLITICO.
The businessman, Felix Sater, also donated the maximum allowable contribution to Trump’s presidential campaign, according to the campaign’s most recent FEC filing.

Sater, whose firm co-developed a major Trump project in New York and who was later hired by Trump to drum up business in the former USSR, has said that he closely associated with Trump and his family, while Trump has suggested he wouldn’t even recognize Sater.

I haven't been paying that much attention to the campaign the past week or so. Has Donald started going off teleprompter yet? If not, what is is the over/under for when he will?

With Steve Bannon running the show, most of the crazy is scripted so there's not as much need to go off script. He does go off script in his appeals to AA voters but that's mostly because someone must have told him Escape From New York was a documentary about inner cities as a prank.
