FBI confirms that Hillary's email contained at least three documents marked classified.

Is this a new confirmation, or the old one wherein it was only three documents improperly marked classified. The old one Comey already explained as:

MATT CARTWRIGHT: So if Secretary Clinton really were an expert about what's classified and what's not classified and we're following the manual, the absence of a header would tell her immediately that those three documents were not classified. Am I correct in that?

JAMES COMEY: That would be a reasonable inference.

I note Hillary wants all of it turned over because there is nothing in there to hide from.

I note that we are talking about the tens of thousands of documents that she had destroyed and which the FBI managed to locate after she had her cowboy server wiped, and ordered that the backups at Platte River be destroyed after 30 days.

Does that sound like she "wanted" them all turned over?

protip: no, she was and is lying.

Thank tho for letting me point that out!

A Navy sailor facing prison time for taking photos of a classified area on a US nuclear attack submarine is asking a federal judge for leniency, citing the government's decision not to indict Hillary Clinton for mishandling classified information.
...
"The defendant is grasping at highly imaginative and speculative straws in trying to further draw a comparison to the matter of Sec. Hilary (sic) Clinton based upon virtually no understanding and knowledge of the facts involved, the information at issue, not to mention any issues of intent and knowledge," the prosecutors said in court papers.
Saucier, who served on the USS Alexandria submarine from September 2007 until March 2012, had a secret security clearance and admitted knowing he was not authorized to take the photos, which depicted classified material.
Still, Saucier's lawyers claim his reason for taking the photos was benign.
"Mr. Saucier admitted that he knew when he took the pictures in 2009 that they were classified and that he did so out of the misguided desire to keep these pictures in order to one day show his family and his future children what he did while he was in the Navy," Hogan wrote in a court filing

Totes the same as Clinton ;)

I thought Comey said that Hillary both sent and received highly classified information that she should have known was classified. Do you think she really didn't know? As Secretary of State and a former first lady and Senator, she was certainly not inexperienced in such matters. And she's not stupid. I wonder if the FBI asked her if she knew that the top secret information she sent and received was top secret. And if she answered no, did they believe her?

At some point the Hillary attack committee (masquerading as the Benghazi committee) needs to be called on their abuse of power to attack a candidate for office from the other party.

The FBI did an extremely thorough investigation and the committee just didn't like the outcome, so now they want to keep it going anyway. They are tossing out perjury charges prematurely before they even had time to compare Clinton's answers to the FBI and her answers to Congress. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say the two are identical. Again Gowdy et al is trying to conflate mistakes and differences of opinion with lying under oath.

And yes, there can be differences of opinion, even when Comey says, "should have known".

 how many things can you get wrong in one post?

She claimed she didn't, and wasn't marked as classified.

Point is that this case was touted as being one of the ones "the same" as clintons. And as we move from supposition to fact, it appears to not be the case.

I think she did initially, but didn't she start using the term "marked classified" in subsequent denials? She must have realized early on that her initial denial wasn't true. In any case, a denial many years after the fact (which could simply be a matter of forgetfulness, or, more likely, flat-out lying), is not the same as not recognizing top secret material at the time she was sending and receiving it.

My question is "do we have reason to believe that she knew, at the time, that she was sending and receiving top secret information on unclassified computer systems?"

I think the answer to that is yes. Perhaps we can't prove it beyond a reasonable doubt, but it certainly seems to be, by far, the most likely answer.

FBI Sends heavily redacted notes to Congress

Why so heavily redacted?

Because they contain information so sensitive that:

The Chairman of the House Government Oversight Committee, confirmed that even he does not have a high enough security clearance to read the documents in full.

They are being held in a secure facility on Capitol Hill.

So if you want to read them, make sure your Top Secret security clearance is up to date.

Or maybe just get a job at Datto, Platte River, one of Hillary's law firms, or any of the half dozen insecure places that Hillary's cowboy server was over the years.

"This information being highly classified according to the FBI is in direct conflict with what the State Department and Ms. Clinton have said is on the server. You could not have it both ways," former military intelligence officer Tony Shaffer said. "You cannot say one day this is unclassified ‘nothing to see here’ and the next day, only certain people can see this and you must not be able to take it outside of a secure facility."

Everything Hillary told you about her emails was false.

Remember when a certain poster here was claiming that the emails would force Hillary to not even run and that Obama would have to pardon her to keep her out of prison?

LOL

As it turns out, those predictions were laughably false and she has an 88% chance of becoming the next President of the United States.

LOL

“As the chairman of the chief investigative body in the House, it is significant I can’t even read these documents in their entirety,” Rep. Jason Chaffetz of Utah told Fox News. “This shows how dangerous it was to have this intelligence, highly classified to this day, on the former secretary’s unsecured personal server where it was vulnerable.”

Total non-sequitur.

Remember when Slick Willy claimed that the classified markings on Thoroughly Corrupt Hilly's emails were the "biggest bunch of bull" he has ever seen? (Clearly he never saw the transcript from his deposition in the Paula Jones case...)

WaPo gives that three Pinochios, just one less that Hilly's latest lie!

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...ified-information-in-hillary-clintons-emails/

Everything a Clinton tells you about Hilly's emails is false.

Just a continuation of Benghazi hearings, aka get Hillary hearings. Is the special prosecutor for President Hillary picked out yet? They will have another 4 years of hearings. Instead of lawmaking. Congress does not do that job anymore.

Clinton reportedly told FBI that Colin Powell urged her to use private email

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/201...in-powell-urged-her-to-use-private-email.html

“Toward the end of the evening, over dessert, Albright asked all of the former secretaries to offer one salient bit of counsel to the nation’s next top diplomat,” a passage details. “Powell told her to use her own email, as he had done, except for classified communications, which he had sent and received via a State Department computer.”

Clinton has repeatedly claimed that her personal email use was in line of that of her predecessors’. But this is the first time of any details of a personal conversation between the pair that revealed Powell recommended Clinton use a private email account.

According to The Times, Powell’s office said in a statement that he had “no recollection” of the alleged conversation between him and Clinton. He did confirm that he told Clinton via email about his use of a personal account for unclassified emails and “how it improved communications within the State Department.

It's telling that FOX forgot to add this fact, included in other news sources:
Powell reiterated the recommendation in an email exchange with Clinton, two sources with knowledge of their communication said. Neither the State Department nor Powell have copies of the email exchange, but the FBI does, the sources said.

Hillary is raising the excuse that Colin Powell told her to use private emails....

Several months AFTER Hillary set up her own cowboy server.

What a *********** clownshow she is.

By Katie Bo Williams - 07/18/16 02:02 PM EDT
A federal judge on Monday declined to order the deposition of Hillary Clinton over whether she deliberately thwarted federal record-keeping laws — but did not rule out the possibility that the former secretary of State may yet be forced to testify.

U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan said he would issue a ruling “as soon as I can,” prolonging the uncertainty in a protracted legal battle over Clinton’s use of a private email server while in office.

Still no ruling ....

Did Judge Sullivan go on summer vacation ???

http://www.nytimes.com/2016/08/20/us/politics/hillary-clinton-judge-emails.html?_r=0
WASHINGTON — A federal judge on Friday ordered Hillary Clinton to provide written testimony under oath about why she set up a private computer server to send and receive emails while secretary of state, ensuring that the issue will continue to dog her presidential campaign until the eve of the election.
...

Judge Sullivan gave Judicial Watch until Oct. 14 to submit questions to Mrs. Clinton — three and a half weeks before Election Day on Nov. 8. Significantly, perhaps, he ordered Mrs. Clinton to submit her answers within 30 days of that deadline, meaning she could delay her answers until after the election. The deposition of the senior aide, however, will take place by Oct. 31.

:sdl:

So it will continue on, but probably won't be too much of an issue for President Clinton.

I guess you don't realize that Judicial Watch can submit their questions earlier than October 14 and thereby push up the date by which Hillary must respond. I expect Judicial Watch to submit their questions no later than October 1, after getting a good look at the remaining documents the State Department must provide by September 30.
