State of emergency is declared - constitution is suspended - just like it has happened in many other countries. Sadly the USA constitution has no more magical powers than any other document.

It sets a bad precedent. I wouldn't cry over it, but I would hope the Secret Service protects Trump as well as they do anyone else. We can't go around offing people we don't agree with, even if we think they are dangerous. The odds are Trump won't end humanity. Supporting killing Trump would almost certainly turn us into a failed state.

And that's all I'll say on this too. I don't want to end up on some watch list.

And as an American journalist wrote recently, that was something he never ever thought could happen in the United States. Or to the United States. Until he spent six weeks on assignment this spring covering the Donald Trump campaign. He still doesn't think it's likely...but it no longer seems impossible.

It's just a piece of paper, but the idea of constitutional limitations on power is firmly ingrained in the American psyche. I don't see that going away anytime soon. Not in my lifetime, at least.

In case the Secret Service reads this, I would never be involved in any way in an assassination plot on a President/Presidential candidate/President elect or any other person.

I don't worry about either candidate as far as nuclear weapons go. There is no place to hide for a POTUS who initiates a nuclear war. It's suicide.

My fear isn't that Trump would actually launch a first strike. I don't think the order would ever be carried out. But I can see him, through incompetence or mental derangement, maneuvering us into a position that escalates into a nuclear exchange.

Please define war criminal - as it is specifically defined in the actual Rules of Warfare. Nothing she has done fits the definition/list in the actual row. If you know anything I don't, feel free to post it. Odds are extremely good I will know why it is not if you actually can list any.

Oh, civilian deaths have a crap load of NOT a war crime things (though the military of the civilian's location may well have committed some that allowed their's not to be criminal!!!)that apply, (eta: more below:)

The geezer is a complete nutbar who will undoubtedly turn the US into an international laughing stock, but if the US is stupid enough to vote him then they have voted him in.
