Hillary Clinton is Done: part 2

That's what happens when the investigations take a year and the information drips out there in this fashion. Somehow a GOP judge authorized releasing the emails a little at a time to keep the story in the news. They managed to create a lot of smoke where there was no fire. Most people don't have a clue what happened but it must have been something because they never stopped hearing about it.

As a campaign strategy it was effective, but it was always deceptive.

It's also what happens when you deliberately circumvent the rules, change your story multiple times, and get caught lying about it.

And Mrs. Bunny will make some tea and cakes and take them to the clearing in the forest where the wise old owl will teach them that they have to learn to respect all the animals and a great rejoicing will be heard across the land as the wise old owl is chosen to be the new leader of all the animals. World hunger will be solved, Reality TV will cease to exist, and the common cold will become a thing of the past as the wise old owl leads the animals to the promised land of Progresso-topia.

This episode of HDS Fantasies has been brought to you by the letter R and the number Get Over It, It's Over.

The electorate is certainly not over it. Thanks to Bill Clinton and Loretta Lynch's staggering incompetence, no matter what the FBI recommends, Trump will make this an issue from now to election day.

I argued with Tony Stark that only a fringe group would glom onto a conspiracy theory of "the fix being in". After watching the coverage this weekend, Tony is obviously right: there will be a significant chunk of voters who will believe that Clinton is above the law, and not all of these people will be die-hard Trump supporters. It will be even worse if the FBI is as harshly critical of her as the State Dept.'s Inspector General, which, barring an indictment, they will likely be.

For Trump to be beating Clinton on the issue of honesty and trustworthiness in multiple non-Right Wing major polls (CNN, Quinnipiac) is shocking, at this stage.

Oh give me a break. Trump conned and ripped off thousands of students of their savings and we hardly hear about it. Hillary installs an email server in her home and we never stop hearing about it.

One of them should be going to prison and it's not Hillary.

Yes it's appalling that people who wanted to learn Donald Trump's success secrets got ripped off. I don't understand why more people aren't deeply troubled about this.

"Only a fringe group"? Did you miss the news? Donald Trump tweeted that she'll get no charges, and "didn't I tell you the system is rigged".

Take it to the bank. Benghazi? Well, see, no... the fair and balanced Gowdey committee did not exonerate her, they didn't come to any conclusion. She's a witch. Burn her. Stand down. She lied about the video. Yeah, that's it. She's really guilty.

Email server? Naaah, she's guilty as hell. The political fix was in. The system is rigged against the little guy big fat orange jackass pseudo billionaire.

This will be your mantra for the next eight years if you don't come away from the right wing neo-fascist darkside you're lining up with. It's THEM, Fudbucker. The people you should be, as a progressive, standing up to. You're parroting them. They are the enemy.

Come to the force. We have cookies and all the best looking girls.

...Most people would prefer that someone have foresight, and be able to make good decisions, not screw up and then realize after the fact...

Really? You know that's not how the World works, right? Sometimes World leaders make bad decisions and sometimes they don't. Wheels within wheels ...

Well he could always argue in court that he did teach them the secret of his success I. E. Ripping off people and not delivering on what you promised.

LOL, they would be going with conspiracy theories even if Bill didn't run into Loretta Lynch at the airport, no doubt whatsoever about it.

I am not a GOP supporter and never could be. Some of their ideas resonate with me, but the socially conservative crap and racism make it impossible to take them seriously. If Hillary does something to disqualify herself in my eyes, I still would never vote for Trump. I'd write in Warren or Bernie's name.

I need to make a sig to the effect that criticism of one party does not entail support of another.

You might consider questioning the other side's incessant propaganda machine once in a while. Looking less like a GOP mouthpiece might go a long way toward your goal.

I know what you claim to support. I'm pointing out that you need to find another approach rather than cheering on Hillary's demise. I'm defending Hillary, whether I like her or not because there's a larger battle at stake.

All this wallowing in the minutiae of the Benghazi investigation and email investigation is ridiculous,... cheering on her imminent failure is absurd.

A. It's not going to happen.
B. You get fleas if you lie down with dogs.

The von Ribbentrop/Molotov pact between the Berniez and the crypto-fascists is harmful.

Let's not take ourselves too seriously. This is just a skeptics forum and I post here because I like to argue. There's no argument that Trump is bad, it's like arguing the Earth is round.

The argument, as you seem to be forgetting, is that throwing away your vote is essentially helping Trump.

I really cannot fathom how people cannot see that.

Could FBI Ask Putin For Copies Of Hillary Clinton’s Emails?

It is well known that the FBI still does not have roughly 30,000 emails that Hillary Clinton deleted from her private server due to Clinton categorizing them as personal and not work related. We have also reported that Russia may be in possession of those emails, and according to Judge Andrew Napolitano, there is a debate going on in the Kremlin about whether or not to release them.

Given that the FBI still doesn’t have the emails, Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton has become so frustrated that he suggests the FBI is about to ask Putin for his copies: “It has gotten so bad, the FBI is on the verge of asking Vladimir Putin for his copies of Hillary’s emails.”

In all likelihood, the FBI already has copies of the deleted emails. Heck, who doesn't have copies? Vladimir Putin, Guccifer, and WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange (just to name a few) have all claimed to be in possession of the missing emails.

Last August Hillary Clinton joked to reporters whether she "wiped" her email server clean before giving it to the FBI.

“What? Like with a cloth or something?” she asked, then laughed. “I don’t know how it works digitally at all,” she confessed.

Hillary's technical incompetence explains how she got into this mess in the first place. First, she hired rookie Bryan Pagliano to setup and oversee her private server -- someone who had neither the experience nor certification in protecting email systems against cyber security threats.

Then later, Platte River Networks took over the management of Clinton's private email server. Under their management the servers contents ended up on the "cloud" storage system (itself the target of hackers).

And when her private server was finally turned over to the FBI, it had most likely actually been wiped off with a cloth -- mistakenly believing this alone would eliminate every trace of her incriminating digital footprints.

Bill Clinton once referred to his wife as a "world-class genius; the smartest woman in the world." But to nearly every one else, she's just a shrill, dumb, overweight, crook in a pantsuit.

While I tend to agree, I must remind one that this is only truly true if the election is close. If it is not, then that individual vote has no particular effect except to register one's preference, and that might indeed be better spent voting for a third party loser than by lumping it in with the winner.

It's a gamble, and it depends a lot not only on the expected margin, but on how many other people make the same decision. It's one I don't expect to make, because, though I don't love Hillary, I don't hate her, and I think the stakes are too high. But for some it may be worth the gamble if the expected result is simply a shot across the Democratic party's bows without actually electing Trump.

I can't fathom how people can keep making such a tired and poor argument when it's been addressed on these forums 100 times.

And even if you want to pretend it's not a garbage argument, it certainly doesn't accomplish what you're intending it to, which is getting people to vote for her.
