While perusing #whichHillary I noted that Hillary is boycotting the press again.

It appears that it has been 79 Days since Hillary has taken a question from the press.

79 days.

Bit surprised that the assorted Hillary fans have not weighed in yet... maybe they are still waiting for the talking points from the Campaign.

Anyway, not much to say in rebuttal. The point is that calling black kids "super predators" and threatening to "bring them to heel" is not something you can really apologize for, now can you.
 
16.5 - We agree on this issue. Yes it appears that Hillary has inherited some black support from the Big Dog, but people are starting to remember the details of the past and that does not bode well for her. Combine this with the suppression of the black vote that has occurred all over the South since Obama's election, and it begins to look like her "firewall" isn't going to contain the Bern very long.

New York Times weighs in and asks Hillary to show voters the transcripts of her paid Wall Street Speeches.

“Everybody does it,” is an excuse expected from a mischievous child, not a presidential candidate. But that is Hillary Clinton’s latest defense for making closed-door, richly-paid speeches to big banks, which many middle-class Americans still blame for their economic pain, and then refusing to release the transcripts.

A televised town hall on Tuesday was at least the fourth candidate forum in which Mrs. Clinton was asked about those speeches. Again, she gave a terrible answer, saying that she would release the transcripts “if everybody does it, and that includes the Republicans.”

I have done no such thing. I alluded to such an answer, but did not provide it. I'm still too much amused by the spectacle of Hillary supporters beclowning themselves over this issue to offer them an out.

If you want credit for a reasonable explanation, you'll have to come up with it on your own.

It is more likely that they are waiting for the HC campaign to tell them what to think.

I don't see how they are going to spin heir way out of this one. Wait, I got it. The vast right wing conspiracy twisted her quote and she actually said "...bring them to heal".

In a thread which is ostensibly dedicated to Clinton being done, she's still the favorite for the next Potus according to the polls and the betting markets. 16.5 is one of several merely trying to troll people with heavily distorted claims, why respond when you know he will never alter his views?

You admitted that the whole push for transcripts is to provide work for the United Quote-Mine Workers of America when you claimed it would provide unreasonable grist for the mill. That right there is a reasonable explanation.

Sure, but this particular endorsement (and the content of the article) could be food for thought for those who think the status quo is something that is good enough to settle with bothering about luxury topics like gay marriage. They'd have to care about people in general and not only "Americans", though, so maybe the target group is rather small.

? Are you claiming that Clinton is against gay marriage? Or that Trump is? Maybe he is, but I haven't seen that.

He's saying that gay marriage is not particularly important in the grand scheme - hence, it is a luxury topic that only a ridiculously rich society could afford to spend any time or energy on. In this, he is spot on. He is also correct that Hillary has historically been aligned with the neocons. As am I, so I like that part about her. And he is also correct that Trump would ordinarily be less likely to be a neocon. I doubt that Hillary would be neo-conish in her first term, however. She would be too beholden to the progressive left and would need to worry about a primary challenge in 2020. In her 2nd term, however, she might let her inner neocon roam free.

Tell you what - when you actually provide evidence for your assertion Hillary is a racist, then maybe someone will address it.
