OK, my bad. He didn't serve her with divorce papers, he just took in a bunch of conditions after she got out of surgery and demanded she sign them. And she wasn't on her deathbed, but then again I didn't say she was. WHAT a swell fellow. He also cheated on the next one with the one after that.

The funny thing about claims that Bill will be the power behind the thrown is that 20 years ago the same people were saying the same thing about Hillary.

Bill was a decent president, and was also a lying scumbag serial womanizer who was done in by a semen-stained blue dress. Good thing for Lewinsky she kept it, else she would just be part of the forgotten rabble of accusers. I don't have any respect for Bill, nor for anyone who chose to remain in his "inner-circle". This, of course, includes Hillary. I give Chelsea a pass, since that's her father, but if my father had acted the way Bill did, it would definitely... strain our relationship.

I'll still feel obliged to vote for her, just to stop some GOP crazy, but I might just stay home. After all, I wouldn't want her to be exposed to more sniper fire.

I go through spells of that myself, it's like my fingers hear the words in my internal stream of consideration, but are too busy to figure out which variant I meant. usually lasts for a day or two and then fades away for a couple of months. curious phenomena.

Isn't that the only important thing? I didn't particularly like Australian Prime Ministers Paul Keating and Bob Hawke (a serial womaniser as well) but they were without doubt fantastic leaders and the country is better for them. Why do you require a certain level of morality?

Of course, Lewinsky had no desire whatsoever to be an accuser of any sort. The Whitewater prosecutor long ago had given up on finding any illegal activity and pressured Lewinsky until she broke. Even so, the only thing Lewinsky accused Clinton of was being an unavailable boyfriend.

Totally agree, even the first part, though he was pulled by the republicans, he would not have governed the way he did if they hadn't won control.
