Ugh I wouldn't read it - they're scum, and they know no better (the clue was in the fact that they chose to hate Knox and Sollecito in the first place, in respect of their alleged involvement in the murder of a woman whom none of them ever knew.....)

I think for me Machiavelli has helped enough in my understanding of this case. I thought I would have quite a lot of schadenfreude about my feelings for those in the PGP camp in what seemed to me the highly unlikely scenario that has unfolded tonight, but hearing about Amanda Knox's joy at the verdict has totally overwhelmed those feelings. I do hope that the Kerchers get the time and space to come to terms with the right verdict and get some kind of closure in the knowledge that the killer of their beloved daughter was found guilty and given a sentence, albeit not the length of time he really deserved.

I think I recall Machiavelli saying that there was no chance the convictions would be overturned. Something like it was "impossible". Pretty sure that was today or yesterday. Anyway, he was dead wrong.
I've just tried to look online - and this is possibly what their lawyers were saying in court and they've just reported this as the reason for the courts overturning the verdict
