But....but....but...but....but...but....but...but....but...but....but...but....but...but....but...but....but...but....but...but....but...but....but...but....but...

Numerous witnesses swore he was shot in the back! Therefore it was true.

How can this be? My faith has been shaken.

Can you name the witnesses who claim he was shot in the back, and provide quotes of them doing so?

Thanks in advance.

Seems very unlikely that you'd get 4 right arm hits with the arms raised.

Seems much more likely that they were down or in the running position, and the officer's aim was poor while trying for center mass.

I had originally discounted this yesterday, due to the source (Teabagger loon Dana Loesch), but it's starting to sound like it might fit:

“He pulled up ahead of them. And then he got a call-in that there was a strong-arm robbery. And, they gave a description. And, he’s looking at them and they got something in their hands and it looks like it could be what, you know those cigars or whatever. So he goes in reverse back to them. Tries to get out of his car. They slam his door shut violently. I think he said Michael did. And, then he opened the car again. He tried to get out. He stands up.

And then Michael just bum-rushes him and shoves him back into his car. Punches him in the face and them Darren grabs for his gun. Michael grabbed for the gun. At one point he got the gun entirely turned against his hip. And he shoves it away. And the gun goes off.

Well, then Michael takes off and gets to be about 35 feet away. And, Darren’s first protocol is to pursue. So, he stands up and yells, “Freeze!” Michael and his friend turn around. And Michael taunts him… And then all the sudden he just started bumrushing him. He just started coming at him full speed. And, so he just started shooting. And, he just kept coming. And, so he really thinks he was on something.

The nipple injury is illustrated as a tear and the diagram is annotated "entry, re-entry and exit perforations" so that injury at least looks secondary.

NO!!!!
Stop it!!! All of you!!! He was shot in the back. Every witness who went on Oprah swore to it. And if that many people witnessed something, it must be true. Unless you believe that there is some sort of conspiracy going on, and they're all lying.

Come on now, don't get all excited, remember, you're a skeptic. Keep your critical thinking cap on?

Shot six times because he was charging the police officer. Is that what the police said? He was charging their guy? Was this a cop or a bull fighter. Six times? An unarmed man? I'm still not getting this.

That does sound likely now

We should all take a tip from a world-renowned forensic pathologist:
“This one here looks like his head was bent downward,” he said, indicating the wound at the very top of Mr. Brown’s head. “It can be because he’s giving up, or because he’s charging forward at the officer.”

He stressed that his information does not assign blame or justify the shooting.

“We need more information; for example, the police should be examining the automobile to see if there is gunshot residue in the police car,” he said.

That's a great point. The overall target pattern fits better arms down. Not to seem insensitive, but if those were the only rounds fired, Ofc. Wilson is a competent pistol marksman.

The police haven't said much of anything, which is as it should be while the investigation is going on.

Remember, this is the autopsy that should most favor the family, if you believe in that sort of thing.

I don't know. Given the likely scenario of a charging suspect, I think the police officer grouped his shots pretty well.

If the nipple injury and the bicep injury are associated, then we know his arms were down.
How do you figure those two injuries are related?

And the way bullets change direction (the eye entry ended up in the jaw and then collar bone), your premise is flawed.

Remember that Wilson's story seems to be that the shooting happened after a close-in struggle. In his narrative, Brown was re-engaging the fight.

"He jerked like he was shot" ≠ I saw him shot in the back.

Fudge your facts much?

“I saw the police chase him … down the street and shoot him down,” Crenshaw said. Brown ran about 20 feet.

“Michael jerks his body, as if he’s been hit,” Mitchell said.

Then he faced the officer and put his hands in the air, but the officer kept firing, both women said. He sank to the pavement.

So he was facing the officer, jerked his body as if he was hit, then turned and faced the officer. Got it.

When the police were chasing him down the street, was he running backwards?

Four strikes to the arm. Perhaps not terribly effective at stopping a 290 lb. man?
