No, one would need all that to put together a case. A theory can be generated from incomplete facts, it is however important to make sure that one doesn't try to make the facts serve the theory.

Even a blind squirrel....

Exactly, I am really, really, uneasy about having to side with the Rev Al, who I consider to be a huckster and con man of the first water, but I understand that Sharpton often picks legitimate issues to exploit.
BTW, their employing Sharpton is one of the main reasons my respect for MSNBC is only slightly better then my disdain for Fox News.

As of now I am witholding judgement on the shooting, but feel there is more then enough evidence to condemn the Ferguson Police department..and whatever other police agencies are involved....for their idiotic handling of the aftermath.

QFT.

The Governor of Missouri has pretty much taken control;he has ordered the Missouri Highway Patrol to take over law enforcement in Ferguson. Not exactly a ringing endorsement of the competence of the Ferguson City Government.
Don't know how the Missouri State Troopers will do, but they sure as hell cannot do any worse....

Has he constructed a false flag scenario yet? Alex hasn't done his job until he informs me how the whole incident is "let's pretend" and that there is a concealed agenda in play. Without a false flag analysis, I just don't get that feeling of resolution.

Ya gotta give Alex a little time. I am sure a "False Flag" rant is on it's way.
Alex has to tread lightly here;the conduct of the police in Ferguson fit in well with his paranoia about an Evil Government Takeover;but a lot of his right wing Obama hating fans probaly see the cops as heros saving us from the Black Savages. He has got to come up with something that will not piss off any large of faction of his customers.

How are they not? Because their racism is so overt? Which views do they hold that, say you, do not?

I know more folks on the right that don't use the 'net than do.

Pretty much anyone older than myself seems to not understand the 'net and what all the noise is about and isn't too interested in learning about it.

I'd assert that there are simply more cranks of whatever ideology online commenting on any event and netpinion may not be the best indicator of any majority opinion.

I wonder how Fox News is reporting this?

Well. I can't say I'm surprised.

I have seen plenty of stupidity on both sides of the political spectrum in the comments sections of major newspapers.
A lot of the right wingers are not even hiding their racism, and a lot of the left winters are using "Up agains the wll, pig" rhetoric right out of Berkely in the 60's.

How about this?
Violent blacks used to promote government overreach. Making us fearful so they can boost their budgets. Oh, and false flag!

I'd bet that this same story, with races reversed, would cause an outcry of TYRANNY!!!11! and would bring out the Bundy-type gunuutters out by the truckload quick.

But that's not happening here. Why is that?
I was not aware that the gun nuts show up for every white guy that gets gunned down in the street by the police. Are you certain you don't know the answer to your own question?

I don't recall any gun nuts showing up for this guy. http://www.12newsnow.com/story/2294...f-duty-police-officer-still-hopes-for-justice

There are times I have heard Al Sharpton say insightful things. He has even made me laugh on occasion. However on an issue like this I've no interest in his analysis, his track record speaks for itself in my opinion.

I think that might have also been his point. There's people who arm themselves and make themselves out to be defenders of freedom and liberty, but when the situation arises where they can actually fulfill that role, they are nowhere to be found.

Now supposedly the ol' Bundy ranch militia is on site, but nobody has seen them. I'm guessing they're hunkered down at a motel six twenty miles away, taking some staged pictures for publicity purposes, and staying out of trouble, or possible harm's way, and above all, conspicuously not defending freedom.

They don't show up for anyone who actually has to deal with state violence, which indicates that much of their talk about revolting against a tyrannical government is empty rhetoric.

If people like Ted Nugent actually believed the nonsense they spew on a daily basis, they'd be down there with their Kalashnikovs and AKs defending the people of Ferguson against a police riot.

Several dirt-bags make lots of noise, get their 15 minutes of fame and a few sound bytes on CNN. All of a sudden they're supposed to be the poster boys/girls for the gun culture in the USA. That otherwise rational people would promote this kind of trash says lots about the prejudice and bias on this forum.

Well, the specific dirt-bag I mentioned is on the Board of Directors of the NRA. If you don't want fruitcakes like him being held up as a poster-boy, I suggest you direct that complaint to Mr. LaPierre. I would heartily applaud, and I'd even reconsider my decision not to join the organization.

Or gone home. It gets VERY hot in Nevada in August,I can tell you from personal experience......

LaPierre is the main reason I am no longer an NRA member, though a strong supporter of the right to own a gun and responsbily use it.
He is a nutcase, a Conspiracy crackpot, and ,frankly, has established a cult of personality within the NRA and runs it like a personal fiefdom.

He is a horrible spokeman for the rights of gun owners.

<snip>

That's what I find to be the supreme irony of all of this rhetoric. If we ever reached a point where there was an attempt to overthrow our democratic institutions and impose martial law and authoritarian rule, I expect it will likely come from the right. The nuts making all the noise in the NRA and on the gun sites about defending the Constitution, they'll undoubtedly be part of it not fighting it. :(
