But its the same thing George. Don't you think after twelve years that I may have a point?
Yes. What is your point?

And you believe that there isn't an afterlife. Where is your proof/evidence of that?
We demolish your points and support ours with objective evidence; you ignore our points and support yours by insisting that your fallible perceptions and memory trump decades of scientific investigation. Do you really consider that the same thing? But its the same thing George. Don't you think after twelve years that I may have a point?
I don't doubt that you have had experiences that have led you to such a belief, but that is your interpretation of the experiences, not the experiences themselves. It is my experience that the spirit world exists, therefore there must be undetectable, higher particles.
And protons and neutrons, of course, to make up the material matrix, and photons that carry the electromagnetic force between them all.But all that aside the only particles needed to work computers are electrons, which come from unstable atoms that can be acted upon by various components. All a computer does is switch on and off millions of logic gates very fast. It is using the same electron flow as a light bulb, but in a more sophisticated way.

Yes. There really is. It is just not the point you want or desire. But its the same thing George. Don't you think after twelve years that I may have a point?
You spent 12 years on this form and still expect people to prove there is no evidence of your claim? And you believe that there isn't an afterlife. Where is your proof/evidence of that?
Some people cannot grasp the concept of the burden of proof no matter how many times it is explained to them. Probably because they are so emotionally invested in a particular irrational belief that their minds simply reject it.You spent 12 years on this form and still expect people to prove there is no evidence of your claim?![]()
.Firstly, Burden shift noted.
Secondly the vast volume of evidence indicates that when our brains die so does our consciousness, It is a property of our brain in the same way being wet is a property of water.

The complete lack of sensation I experienced when anasthesized for a knee operation convinced me that death is just like that.
Nothing.
No experience/sensation at all.
Just gone.

Yes, I've had a few surgical procedures lately and I tried to determine when I went out but it was always just like turning off a light, now if we are more than our bodies why does the anesthesia work?
Just so you can ridicule? It does say above that this forum is for the discussion of the paranormal as well as other subjects. But some posters ask why I am on here
Which definition of "die" would you be using here?
